A prophet like Moses, Jesus is god or divine according to Christians , and according to the Book of John, Moses is not god, nor trinity, nor son of God , not divine in any wat , In what way on earth is Moses like Jesus? Besides, according to their Paul, Jesus came to annul the Torah and make it obsolete , while Moses asked the Israelites to follow every commandment, so there is no way in earth this is a prophecy about Jesus. Besides, besides when John the Baptist was asked, are you that prophet? He said no. Are you the Moschiah? He said not. Are you Elijah? He said not, so you see, the Jews at the time asked about three different and distinct people. The Messiah is one, and the prophet is another.

The argument you make abour God not accepting human blood is based on a false pretense, because God said that no sins can be forgiven without the shedding of blood. He ordered the Israelites to sacrifice animals so their own blood wouldn't have to be spilled. By right what blood should have been shed was that of the person who sinned, not the innocent animal. Jesus willingly sacrificed himself on behalf of all who sinned God never specified whether or not human blood could be spilled.

The Bible even says Joshua is not the prophet like Moses who speaks to God face to face. It's not about laying on hands and receiving the holy Spirit. It's about speaking to God face to face. Many men have the holy Spirit like the 70 elders in the book of numbers.

Joshua was commissioned and filled with the spirit of wisdom by Moses' laying on of hands, the apostles were commissioned by Jesus and received the Holy Spirit. Both events signify the passing of authority and empowerment for leadership.

Joshua contradicts Tovia himself by the above statement. Yes Joshua was anointed to succeed Moses but the prophet like Moses was yet to come.

The Lord Jesus was getting challenged by the Judaeans for things that he had done and said. When they he questioned him, above is the answer he gave in John 5:39-47.
Later, in John 7 the Judaeans marvelled at his doctrine - how could he say and know these things? They were answered by Jesus of Nazareth...

Then Stephen the Evangelist also confirmed Jesus of Nazareth as THE PROPHET spoken by Moses...

As THAT PROPHET THE LORD JESUS spake not his own words, but words that came from THE FATHER, THE GOD OF ISRAEL.

You may not add to it or diminish from it," and Deuteronomy 29:28 states: "What is revealed is for us and our children forever, to carry out all the words of this Torah." This teaches that we are commanded to fulfill all the Torah's directives forever. It is also said: "It is an everlasting statute for all your generations," and Deuteronomy 30:12 states: "It is not in the heavens." This teaches that a prophet can no longer add a new precept to the Torah.

It means that Moses is the ultimate and supreme prophet for all time.
Also, that Jesus can be seen as the 2nd Moses (the expected Prophet (like Moses)) is seen in the Book of Revelation;
Rev 15:1-4 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete. And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark (false Tefillin/phylactery) and over the number of his name (false tefillin/phylactery), standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sing the song of Moses (Exd 15), the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
“Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!
Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come and worship before You,
For Your judgments have been manifested.”
Note: In Rev 15:1-4, those who do not receive the “mark of the beast (vav vav vav/ the false shin)” sing the Song of Moses…and of the Lamb, meaning, they are both one and the same. Meaning they serve the same purpose.
Second note: About the Lamb, this description is not of Jesus as being a “Passover Lamb” nor a “sin” sacrifice, but rather, it is a description of his personality as being “meek, as a lamb”…this is seen in the person of Jeremiah (Jer 16;19). Obviously, Jeremiah was not a “Passover Lamb”, nor was he a “sin” sacrifice. The same with Jesus.
- Jeremiah 16:19 But I was like a docile lamb brought to the slaughter; and I did not know that they had devised schemes against me, saying; “Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be remembered no more.”
Moses was “meek” as a lamb as well:
- Numbers 12:3 Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.
Those who overcame the Beast of Revelation 13, sang the Song of Moses and of the Lamb (Jesus, the Prophet like unto Moses).
I’m Eastern Orthodox. But thanks for helping me realize christians unless they non trinitarian, there was never supposed to be a bishop over all bishops like Rome with a pope. Protestants broke off because King of England wanted to divorce his wife. There’s one person in christ. There’s no doctrine for a pope infallible in “universal teacher” like the pope who is supposed to remain celibate like he’s completely righteous, not one it says. He already contradicts doctrine a life isn’t a life and it’s treated as property of the woman and that’s old Jewish law. So their stance on when a life is a life is ridiculous when a pregnant woman miscarries in the Old Testament, it’s punished with a fine. There’s your answer it’s not a life till it’s born. That’s contradicting doctrine the pope is wrong on and Jews are right.
All Gentiles are obligated to keep the 7 Noahide laws.
Fun fact: the Israelites migrated from their beloved homeland Israel to Arabian Peninsula in anticipation of prophet like Moses, the one from Kedar and close to mountains of Sela, the prophet who is like a warrior and they rejected him like they rejected Jesus' prophethood, the real historical Jesus that is. While it should be true that the basic laws like the ones Abraham preached would be enough to enter paradise, God gave us books with more elaborate laws to give us something to strive for. The Lord Jesus was getting challenged by the Judaeans for things that he had done and said. When they he questioned him, above is the answer he gave in John 5:39-47.

Since Deuteronomy 34:10-12, which is from the last three verses of that book, states that no prophet like Moses has risen in Israel, whom the Lord knew face to face, and who did all those signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do in Egypt... Joshua was already well known in Israel by the time these verses were written. So Joshua was still alive and did not come after Moses and was not as great. The verses Tovia Singer keeps quoting only show that Joshua took over by that time as leader of Israel. He cannot be the prophet that will come after Moses as foretold by Moses in Deut. 18, since he was still alive and everyone knew him. Plus, Joshua is almost the same name as Jeshua, the one he actually foretold.

The Bible even says Joshua is not the prophet like Moses who speaks to God face to face. It's not about laying on hands and receiving the holy Spirit. It's about speaking to God face to face. Many men have the holy Spirit like the 70 elders in the book of numbers.

That Rome, Caesar and Roman Gentiles are not God's new Chosen People, and that God's Word, covenant and promises actually mean something.

You have to be consistent, if you're going to use Jewish scripture as the scaffolding for making claims about Jesus, you have to admit that there is no Jewish prophecy about a Second Coming, which is a huge deal because it completely destroys the Christian narrative that Jesus was both Messiahs, and also admit that Jesus absolutely did not fulfill the prophecy of the Messiah Son of David. And most importantly, you have to acknowledge that there is no NEED for Jesus to be anything more than a man, because only God is the savior and redeemer of mankind, and this God does not need a mediator or a biological son. If He did, He would not be the God of Israel, the Creator and the Destroyer.

Jesus did not claim to be God, he claimed to be the son *OF* God, but rather referred to the God of Israel as "my God". This confirms the everlasting covenant made with Abraham and his decendants: "I will be your God".

If Joshua is already named the successor to Moses in Numbers 27:12-23 logically how could he be the prophet in Deuteronomy 18:14-22? Why would Moses write ‘the Lord your God will raise up a prophet like me’ if he was referring to Joshua? Joshua was already alive and commissioned to be the next leader. Moses would have said Joshua in this passage. Moses was obviously writing about someone else because he didn’t name Joshua.

So how could it be Joshua, as the prophet like Moses (Deuteronomy 18), being the immediate successor of Moses, included in Deuteronomy 34:10-11, when it states there was no prophet like Moses?

Yes I have noticed how many just like Tovia have ommitted that important verse. The word for LIKE Moses comes from a root word meaning "duplicate". There is only one peson in history that fits the prophet LIKE Moses. It is not Joshua, great leader though he was.
Joshua succeeded Moses, but Moses was the greatest prophet the Jews ever had. That was what was meant when the Torah said there was never again a prophet like Moses.

Jesus came fro Israel, not the Gentiles. When he told the apostles to go among the nations he was sending them to the lost sheep of the Northern tribes of Israel. That's why he specifically told his disciples "Go not into the cities of the gentiles, but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel". Also James 1:1 says to paraphrase "Greetings from James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes of the Dispersion"

The Lord Jesus was getting challenged by the Judaeans for things that he had done and said. When they he questioned him, above is the answer he gave in John 5:39-47.
Later, in John 7 the Judaeans marvelled at his doctrine - how could he say and know these things? They were answered by Jesus of Nazareth...

This is a huge difference of listening to a rabbis than to pastors. I have listen almost all my life to pastors and he will entertain you with one or two verses from the bible and lots of jokes but I have come to listen to this rabbi and reveal to me the truth of the Torah.
