I think you and some other big coaster UA-camrs (maybe 5 others), should do a “theme park fantasy draft” where each person selects like 10 rollercoasters each (in a snake draft order, if you’ve played fantasy football before), and then let the viewers vote on who had the best amusement park. But make the voting based on which park is the best overall (for example, not having a family coaster would hurt its overall lineup since it wouldn’t be balanced). I think it would be fun. Maybe a livestream during it too. And if I were y’all, I’d keep it to rollercoasters only in the US.
It’s cool that you mention corkscrew being your first coaster with inversions because just a few weeks ago I made my little sister ride it for the first time (her first coaster with inversions) and she loved it! She’s been on it about 6 times already
Most Arrow loopers (With the exception of Viper and Tennesse Tornado) are always good coaster for your first inversion. They aren't too fast or intense, so they probably won't scare kids away. My first was Anaconda at Kings Dominion.
@@Operager I wish my dad had kept that in mind lol. My first inverted coaster was flight of fear. For some reason he didn’t get me on Vortex when it was still open. I was about 7 or 8 at the time.
Your such a good UA-camr and provide some of the best reviews, you value coasters for what there worth. Most just say “oh it’s not that thrilling”. But you value that it’s good for family’s. ❤❤❤
What is crazy is that I would rank your #15 coaster ahead of MOST of the disney rides. Basically it is Big Thunder Mountain but probably a bit better... My Rankings based on what I rode in my one day in Cedar Pt with my kids who would not ride the good rides: 4. Woodstock Express (yeah I only rode 4 coasters but we rode a few of them multiple times and rode a few flat rides) 3. Cedar Creek Mine Train which is a pretty good ride and just show how deep Cedar Pt is. 2. Blue Streak 1. Gemini which we rode 3 times. My kid won't ride the good rides I have to go back in May by myself to ride all the top ones. A permanent DQ to Wilderness Run as we were told my kid and I were too big to ride it.

Yes people either over hate or sleep on raptor is crazy underrated and my favorite invert. Also Maverick over Steel Vengance I can get behind that sounds about right coming from a person whos ridden Steve but not Maverick. Top thrill 2 looks great but the layout looks like it’s lacking still and the spike looks like the only great moment
You know since you mentioned the words high tier Inverts getting slept on by both the General public and even Enthusiasts too at most of the parks that have an invert by B&M in their parks it seems like they went from being the most popular ride model by them along with the Floorless coasters to the least liked and Qued in their respective parks like I remember the lines that B&M inverts and Floorless coasters Up n Down at Parks across the East Coast had in the 2000’s and then once they got into the mid to late 2010’s only I hand full of like say enthusiasts and in a way probably regular Thrill Seekers Park Guests were Raving it up about their intensity and honestly it’s giving me the kind of vibes like when you’ve build a enough intense coaster on Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Pc Platinum or Mobile Games and you check every now and then to see how many people fill up the Train and based on location in the park as well as it being too intense or bearably intense for everyone to enjoy your made by yourself coaster will be either having mostly full trains or least than half trains filled and the longer you keep a thrilling coaster model operational in your park the least popular it gets and that’s exactly what happened to coasters and the models associated with them that were popular in the 90’s and 2000’s once Companies like RMC New Age Intamin and new Age B&M and especially overseas New Age Vekoma burst onto the scene in the 2010’s it made the coaster popular in the last two decades obsolete in a way and dwindled their popularity
1. Steel Vengeance (#2 overall for me) 2. Maverick (#21 overall for me) 3. Magnum XL-200 (#31 overall for me) 4. Millennium Force (#46 overall for me) 5. Top Thrill Dragster (#49 overall for me)- I expect TT2 will be somewhere between 3-5 for me. Here are my thoughts. The speed will remain unchanged so that is a push between dragster and TT2. The backwards spike isn't as big of an addition for me as others. Superman at SFMM isn't highly regarded by me and even Mr Freeze spike isn't the big selling point on those rides. Same with Pantheon and Toutatis. TT2 also lacks the other elements that Pantheon and Toutatis has. Especially Toutatis. An airtime hill like Pantheon or Toutatis have would be great as that is what makes the swing launch really work. In terms of the top hat, that is where it should improve, BUT if the modifications kill that additional airtime and reduce the extra whip you get on the drop, TT2 may not be as good as the original because you are losing the kick on the launch and not getting the extra airtime and whip. Just my 2 cents of what I expect. Next Tier: 6.Gatekeeper 7. Raptor 8. Gemini Next Tier: 9. Blue Streak 10. Valravn 11. Rougarou Next Tier: 12. Wild Mouse 13. Iron Dragon Next Tier: 14. Your 1st corkscrew rides remind me of my 1st rides on an inverting coaster Lightning loops in 1981 at Six Flags Great Adventure. I actually preferred it to every coaster in the park except Millie and Steel Vengeance.

Maybe it's nostalgia from visiting the park in the mid-90s, but I love Corkscrew! I returned with my own family this summer with Corkscrew and Raptor as my most prominent memories. Unfortunately, Raptor was closed at the beginning of the day and the line swelled past 90 minutes immediately upon opening😢 Being we only had one day, we missed out. But Corkscrew didn’t disappoint! The Gatekeeper became our favourite, as the line was reasonable to repeat, and the ride has excellent views and thrills!
Have you heard anything regarding the Top Thrill 2 closure????? If I travel all the way from FL to ride it and its closed, let's just say I would be a tad PISSED!
It's number 2 or 3 for me. In my opinion, it's absolutely not forceless. The first overbank is one of the most intense elements I have ever experienced, and I grayed out hard and I also think the hills have decent airtime.
I've long thought that the Corkscrew plot would be perfect for an RMC Raptor. You could probably fit a layout pretty similar to Jersey Devil in the space now utilized by the lift, airtime hill, vertical loop, and "MCBR"; and then have the ride end with two corkscrews over the midway in the exact same spot as the ones that are currently there. Paint it blue, keep the iconic corkscrew supports over the midway, and you've got a winner.
Here’s my choices for the top 15 roller coasters at Cedar Point: 1. Steel Vengance 2. Top Thrill 2 3. Wild Mouse 4. Millennium Force (The world’s first Giga coaster) 5. Magnum XL-200 6. Gatekeeper 7. Maverick 8. Raptor 9. Corkscrew 10. Blue Streak 11. Valravn 12. Gemini 13. Iron Dragon 14. Cedar Creek Mine Ride 15. Woodstock Express
I'm a little dated, I've only been once and that was the year Top Thrill opened up. I remember the line being like 2-3 hours long minimum. Anyway, my favorite at Cedar Point and probably my favorite coaster period will always be the Raptor. I rode it 4 times in one day and saying I was grinning ear to ear would be an understatement. It's not the most high octane coaster, not the fastest and doesn't pull the most Gs or any thing but they way it whips you about was just the most fun I've ever had.
Mine ride, corkscrew, blue streak, we had the mouse trap, I love the iron dragon, the Gemini is my favorite when both red and blue trains we were operational, I rode the mantis, I miss the Mean Streak that was the wooden highest coaster but they demolished it, I loved the Raptor, the Magnum was great only rode once, the last 4 I moved away.
Thats right! Maverick best speed to turn ratios and secomd half. And i got to ride TT2 front seat in the preview. Yes 3rd acceleration. Every new coaster should do mid ride 2nd launches to amp up the adrenaline!!! I will say Steel Vengeance is growing on me the last trip it was running fast! But still Maverick is better. Is there anything comparable to Maverick elsewhere?
Dragster looks insane. Too high for me. Yukon Striker is taller than Valraven, but i would ride it. Iron Dragon looks fun, Vortex is also an Arrow Suspended coaster. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aint no way bro just put blue streak over valravn and rougarou. Dont get me wrong i love blue streak but those two coasters are just hands down better. I wowuld be very sad thogh to see them take out blue streak.
So absurd TT2 still isn’t open again. It’s almost like *everyone* knew zamperla wasn’t a good choice and they only chose them to save money……how’s that going cedar fair 😂
1- steel vengeance 2- Millenium Force 3- Gatekeeper 4- Raptor Then maybe Maverick. It's fun but my god does it beat the hell out of your head. I've walked away with a major headaches every time I have ridden it. The shoulder harnesses are as bad as corkscrew. Top thrill is way down the line. What a stupid boring ride. Can't judge Top 2 yet because it's closed. But I did like wicked twister. I may have like TT more if they put an air time hill after you come down. My favorite part of a roller coaster is the first drop. The drop on TT 1 was lame. Maybe the roll back hill helps. Still too short though.
Enthusiast when a ride doesn’t have enough airtime 🤬🤬🤬 Enthusiast when a ride has the most high quality airtime on any ride 🤬🤬🤬 There’s no justification for maverick let alone tt2 to be over it.

Gatekeeper is so underrated. Front right gives CRZAY hang time and back right is SUPER forceful and has a little bit of airtime
My top 4 were TTD, Millie, Maverick, and SteVe. I predict TT2 will maintain #1 but haven't ridden it yet.
Brandon, do a list of ALL the CP coasters they've ever had. That would be interesting. 😊
I rode all of them
Did you ride TT2?
Mine ride, corkscrew, blue streak, we had the mouse trap, I love the iron dragon, the Gemini is my favorite when both red and blue trains we were operational, I rode the mantis, I miss the Mean Streak that was the wooden highest coaster but they demolished it, I loved the Raptor, the Magnum was great only rode once, the last 4 I moved away.
I think they’ll add a new era woodie from gci at some point, potentially replace Gemini with a dueling gci?
I think the one thing that everyone gets wrong in the ratings is putting Corkscrew over Wilderness Run. Corkscrew is bottom of the barrel garbage.
Real
magnum feels like it’s ripping my legs off
I honestly had no idea that jr Gemini was called wilderness run now
Please do a Dollywood 2026 Roller
coaster video
Thats right! Maverick best speed to turn ratios and secomd half. And i got to ride TT2 front seat in the preview. Yes 3rd acceleration. Every new coaster should do mid ride 2nd launches to amp up the adrenaline!!! I will say Steel Vengeance is growing on me the last trip it was running fast! But still Maverick is better. Is there anything comparable to Maverick elsewhere?
I had Maverick over SteVe too, but after a front row ride, SteVe wins
calling blue streak smooth is a very interesting take
8:35 you lost me 💀
Yes they did do good job on top thrill. For 8 days....
Doesn’t gatekeeper only have 6 inversions? Not 7?
Google says 6
Dragster looks insane. Too high for me. Yukon Striker is taller than Valraven, but i would ride it. Iron Dragon looks fun, Vortex is also an Arrow Suspended coaster. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Blue Streak is smooth?!?! Were you inebriated when you rode it??
Bro my friend made me go on Corkscrew when i was 10 it was my first ride with loops too lol
My list is similar. I haven't rode TT2, but I like Steel Vengence better than Maverick. I wouldn't put Raptor so high.
Corkscrew is an icon
Hello, Recency Bias!
top thrill 2 number 1?! man if it is that good I really need to try that
#1 Steel Vengeance (#2 OVR for me)
#2 Maverick
#3 Milly
#4 Magnum… I had 1 INSANELY good ride on it and 1 bad one so this is 4 or 5…
Oh man you describe blue streak as smooth,id hate to see your version of rough
It’s so sad how tt2 has been closed since the first week CP has been open😢
sadly, Gatekeeper only has 6 inversions
I was at cedar point a week ago and I think maverick was the best but than again top thrill 2 was closed
Haha! You are showing your age? I can remember riding Jr. Gemini in 1981 or 82
Aint no way bro just put blue streak over valravn and rougarou. Dont get me wrong i love blue streak but those two coasters are just hands down better. I wowuld be very sad thogh to see them take out blue streak.
So cute how you pronounce things incorrectly
Like what?
Rolling coasters
My dad panted the magnum xl 200😊😮
I dare you to meet me at city point , let's see who lasts the longest
My uncle Ronnie helped build millennium force
There is 18 roller coasters
If TT2 was so good: Why did Cedar Point "knock it out of the park"? 🤔
LMAO!
The reliability issues already started 💀
Not reliability issues, they’re refurbishing and modifying the trains a little bit so nothing bad happens. Could be the rattle or something else.
I'd say it's time to get rid of Iron Dragon and Corkscrew.
It's too bad the wheels are melting on Dragster 2.0 😜
I’ve heard that it might be a problem with the train being too lightweight and the center of gravity being too high.
That's interesting. I never thought that could be an issue
So absurd TT2 still isn’t open again. It’s almost like *everyone* knew zamperla wasn’t a good choice and they only chose them to save money……how’s that going cedar fair 😂
Top Thrill 2 is so big
TT2 still lot open wow really stipididu
The best giga in ohio!? Oh wow it must be good then 🤣
TT2 eating wheels 😂
Mid opinions
Can't ride a closed ride
Blue streak=8th
Blue streak is so underrated!!
I do NOT get how people like magnum xl.. Bottom tier coaster for me, one of the worst experiences I've had on a coaster 😂
Blue streak is not smooth
Millennium
Force is the only giga in ohio
Magnum is one of the worst coasters I have ever ridden. Beyond painful. Tear it down and build a B&M Hyper, a la Mako. Seriously.
Cant deal with the voice
Sorry you hate my voice... I hate it too... so does my wife - guess I am stuck with it :)
bluestreak top 5 lol
Enthusiast when a ride doesn’t have enough airtime 🤬🤬🤬
Enthusiast when a ride has the most high quality airtime on any ride 🤬🤬🤬
There’s no justification for maverick let alone tt2 to be over it.
Magnum needs to be removed
No it does not.
@ uh yeah definitely does
@@BlaineBasil Your opinion. Still operating well. No problems. No injuries. Corkscrew and CCMR need to go before Magnum and Gemini.
@ it’s gonna cause a injury
@@BlaineBasil How so? Explain.
