He did a studio version of this with Jeff Beck on the STONE FREE compilation. Lots of good jimi covers on it. This one is great, but M.A.C.C. (basically Temple of the dog, or just Chris Cornell with Pearl jam minus Eddie do Hey Baby, which is the best song on the album, but this is great. First time I saw this live.

This is the Jeff Beck and Seal version off the Hendrix Tribute album but, using other band members. This is wicked good. The drummer has the feel down pat which pulses the tune along perfectly. Even the breakdown section has the same feel as the Beck version. Beck plays wickedly.. I was actually looking for that video and stumbled upon this one.
