It’s from Simon and Garfunkel, Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. My brother and I sang their songs when we were kiddos. By the way, I am baking my boneless and skinless turkey breast. I will be watching this video for Thanksgiving 2020 for your Thanksgiving recipes. Love your channel Bobby, you rock Brother!!!
I can hardly wait for this vid. I have tried and failed on many occasions to toast turkey breast for me and my husband. I don’t need a large turkey for 2. Just a breast will do. I know this is gonna be good 🤗
Such a good and entertaining video , just what I need to cook my turkey tomorrow. However, I do have a question (I know it’s probably a dumb one but I’ve never cooked turkey ) : I don’t have a probe thermometer, only a regular meat thermometer. How much time do i give the turkey ‘till it reaches the desired temperature? Tia and happy thanksgiving!
That gravy looked so good! Never would have thought of adding lemon juice to it, but I will definitely have to try that when I make mine this year! Thank you fora great video!
This looks fantastic! I’m not a fan of turkey, but I might try this. If it rests for 20 to 25 minutes isn’t it room temperature by the time you eat it? Looking forward to checking out some of the sides you linked.
This looks great! Thanks for sharing. I would love to see you oven roast a boneless, skinless turkey breast in a dutch oven, especially since the holiday gatherings are smaller this year.
You can cook a very juicy boneless turkey breast in a dutch oven on the stove top...braised turkey breast gets really tender and delicious. Does not have to cook in an oven at all.
I’m loving the gray plate the turkey is presented on and couldn’t find it listed? Where can I find it? I enjoy watching your videos and love your enthusiasm on cooking! Keep on cooking 👍.
I’m trying to loose weight and I noticed a lot of keto recipes have lots of calories so would keto not be a good option?? I was told that I should only eat 1300 calories a day.. sooo confused!!
It’s funny I’ve never heard anyone using lemon with turkey when cooking the traditional way until today I find two youtubers using lemon with turkey lol did you guys watch each other’s videos lol ... before the comments I did say the traditional way since I’ve cooked turkey with lemon when making a chicken or turkey francaise but when cooking traditional turkey I’ve never even heard of lemon being used in any way
No need for xantham gum if you use gelatin (dry) and add that. The gravy could be chunky by adding giblets. Giblets cooked in gravy are great in gravy and are quite chunky. You might want to rethink using flour because flour will kick you out of keto and mess up the whole fat adaptation of keto. You might want to rethink the whole cereal grain thing with your keto meals. Cereal grains, like corn, wheat, rye, etc., will not do you any good or why not just go for losing weight the old style by keeping your cereal grains in your diet. Try reaching keto with those cereal grains in your body -- or are you doing the carb refeeds? I don't know about you, but I prefer the dark meat and often get turkey thighs and legs and have them for Thanksgiving. I gave up turkey breast, although I think your version of turkey breast might not be as dry as the Sahara desert.
There’s only two of us and a dog. I buy the whole bird, very inexpensive. We eat the breasts, legs, and wings then use the rest for dog food and bone broth. Nothing is wasted .
I used to fix the breasts like that but none of the local stores have carried them for years now.... just the frozen turkey breast that is a turkey with the wings and legs cut off. : (
I wished you had done something more adventurous. This is a recipe anyone could do without thinking much about anything. You want a like or a subscribe, do something I wouldn’t have thought of.
So much humbleness in your comment 😖. Some of us are very grateful for these helpful videos because we don’t qualify in that “anyone could do without thinking much ... group “. Some of us are not on your same level of cooking knowledge and we do need some help and instructions to make a “simple” meal. I’m so glad not everyone thinks like you because otherwise, I would have not found what I need to make my family’s thanksgiving meal tomorrow.
Okay, this recipe looks phenomenal, but can we just take a second to appreciate someone reminding you to wash your hands while handling raw meat? I mean it should be common sense, but some people out there...

Simon and Garfunkel, Scarbrough Fair is the song you were trying to remember (1966).

Bobby, great video. What’s the best place to buy a bone in turkey breast in Chicago? Been to a few groceries stores and it’s all the frozen stuff.

good call abut gelatin..not sll my recipes re keto..and we try to avoid grains for the most part..but 1 tbsp for gravy aint gonna hurt.
Could you add coconut flour to make the gravy?
Any idea of Sodium In this?
Have a you ever done Duck Breast or a Whole Duck?
I watchedInSpeedup stillLovingit!
Can you please do a lower carb cranberry sauce
water, cranberries, stevia! boil away for 15 minutes..1/2 cup water 1 pound cranberries. add some orange zest at the end.
There’s only two of us and a dog. I buy the whole bird, very inexpensive. We eat the breasts, legs, and wings then use the rest for dog food and bone broth. Nothing is wasted .
Camera man wasn’t feeling the show time lol
Would coconut flower work instead of xanthan gum to make the gravy ?
no, bc it doesnt have starch like ap flour
But I think cream cheese would work as a thickener though.....

The order of the spices are Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme. Yanks now the refrain of this song is stuck in my head...
ha..that's a tough one to have stuck in ur head Karen ;)
I used to fix the breasts like that but none of the local stores have carried them for years now.... just the frozen turkey breast that is a turkey with the wings and legs cut off. : (
i asked the butcher to cut the double breast in half..this was a few weeks ago, but they should have that now!
Control freak?!haha
