I just moved to GA about 1.5 months ago from CA and all these are spot on realities. I'd like to give a heads up on the bugs. The bugs are absolutely horrendous here, particularly the mosquitos and noseeums. It could be because I live near the marsh that I experience them more but other than a few cooler days recently, I've been in a constant state of itching since I got here, lol. My tip is to find an Avon rep for Skin So Soft lotion and invest in a dozen Thermacells to survive!

Yes the bugs ughhh. I moved here almost 2 years ago from CA and yes she was so spot on. I recommend a monthly visit from a exterminator

Y’all dress up a lot more here than in Florida. Yes, fried chicken or BBQ is all that is here unless you want tacos. I miss a good sit down restaurant and a real ice cream shop. Twistee Treats or Rita’s would do. It’s hot here. Doesn’t anyone eat ice cream other than a vanilla cone from Dairy Cream? Would love a fancy restaurant you find in Savannah but the parking is horrible and they only serve after 5 pm. Seniors like to eat early and be home in time to binge TV after dark. 😂
