Oh that would be fun! He has twins though so maybe one of them would be a fan of a basement bedroom? And Forest could have his music equipment in the basement as well.
I completely agree! I could even see it being Briar's in the future when she graduates University. The basement would be a great hacking/gaming room.

Can you please do an Encanto CAS Monday? Since theres 11 of them in the family, could do a part 1 and 2 like how you did for Winx? One part with Pepa’s side of the family and the other part with Mirabel’s immediately family (and you can choose which group you wanna make Abuela & Bruno with)

This is so cool. Clare should do a challenge where she has to build a house in each style from this site. It would be really cool and give some variation.
So I read someone where that you take the plan measurements that are in feet, divide it by 3 and that will give you how many sims squares long the walls should be eg. 15 feet / 3 = 5 sim squares; And if the number ends in decimal like 5.4 sims squares, round up a square.

Wow, Clare, you really outdid yourself with this interior! The colours are gorgeous and all the items are perfect, not a thing out of place.
When building I always put a toilet and a bed on the lot when sizing the rooms for scale. It helps more than you might think.
"Red Brick British House" sounds like a great start!!
I think I've seen the calculation that, when going off of real life dimensions, count each square in the Sims as 2'x2' or 3'x3'. I tried mapping out my basement (so that I can play around with how we would finish it) and it was WAY too big, haha. I ended up just scaling up all the beds and furniture since I didn't need it to actually be usable.
I'm too tired - if you need feet in meters, it's .6m x .6m or .9m x .9 m (Probably easiest to just do 1m x 1m)
I think Briar should move here after university, I think it would suit her with a few little tweaks and more green. ♡
The basement would come in handy for her hacker den.

Yeah I love doing this! I have a board on Pinterest of Floor plans I want to build! And I think when you say retro modern you mean mid century modern? Also the colors your went for are cool, it’s like pastel mid century modern! Love it 😊

to be fair to you, that picture on the website is definitely NOT an adobe house 😅 they're very distinctive houses made of natural mud bricks with flat roofs and rounded edges! it's a style created by the indigenous peoples of the american southwest and used throughout southwestern cities today

Clare, the stair issue is because you have a taller platform directly next to it. You would have to change where the stairs are if you want that to stop. Love the video btw. I was lacking inspiration and now I have some!

God, every time I see someone use the Sims 3 camera, I get so confused about how they do it. It is so hard to control for someone who’s never played the Sims 3, but I really really want to know how! Because there are so many more angles you can get with it, but I just can’t seem to control it at all. And my camera is definitely not doing the same thing yours is doing, mine is incredibly sensitive 😢
I would love a video explaining how you guys do it (‘you guys’ meaning Sims UA-camrs 😅)

Every time I build in the Sims I use house plans from online 😂 I suck at figuring out walls and so I go with actual plans and it makes me really happy to see results with them

I love the shower with the door, I try to get creative with my showers also with glass walls or using curtains to make it look cute.

The trouble with identifying houses is they can have very similar looks and be different from one little feature. Like Adams styles has a triangle where Georgian has a arch above the front door.
It looks amazing!! Id love to see you to build more, try out different styles, get out of your comfort zone and become CLARE THE MASTER BUILDER one day!

When I try this kind of thing, I find that 1 grid to 1 "foot" works well, mostly. Sometimes it does need to be a little larger or roudned up though.
