Low key I feel like you’ve created the perfect off-brand Bond movie ensemble. Malcom is the villain, his mom is the femme fatale who’s really the one pulling the strings, and his dad is the hero who is betrayed by his family whom he thought he knew. Johnny Zest could even feature in the movie as the comic relief/emotional core of the film. A father and son reconnecting to take on their evil family members and save the world sounds like a fun time.
Story Idea: Johnny is the eldest son so all that pressure placed on him didn’t really pay off and that’s why he quit school, got disowned, and tried becoming a stand up comedian. Malcom meanwhile was left without his brother, a good influence, and maybe felt distant from his father due to the demanding hours of the secret agent career, so he sought his mother’s affection, trying to become more like her, and that’s why such a nice kid would grow up so evil.

@@madstayy I don't remember her saying the R word at any point. Clare is one of the least problematic youtubers there is. Sometimes deleting it is better for their mental health and for the viewers to not further upset people because apologies aren't always taken the way they should be. I think it makes sense what she did if she did say it and delete it because of how little attention she got for it and for the time in the city was a series. The r word hadn't been widespread as a slur. Still people use it without being bothered its a slur. Not saying it's okay I'm just trying to understand where she may be coming from along with the culture in the UK is much different considering what's a curse word and what's not compared to other countries I've noticed.

All the makeovers were so good, but Johnny Zest is my favorite. He kind of reminds me of Tuffnut in how to train your dragon, but in the best way possible. He looks adorable.

I love this series! So glad you did justice to Johnny, he was my Mint Gen's husband and the patriarch of the whole NSB! In my game with the help of his mischievous wife, is able to get his comedy up and become successful and was a wonderful father to my Rose gen and the other three kids. Looking forward to everything you do!

I'm a bit jealous. I had a different experience with Johnny... he flirted with Eliza Pancakes in front of my sim even though my sim and johnny were engaged. At least I learned Eliza was a real one, she ain't a cheater and she's a loyal friend. She turned Johnny's cheating butt down. -_-

If it makes you feel better I forgot to take away free love from my Rose Gen's area when she lived in an apartment so I saw her final boyfriend flirting with her dad Johnny and panic turned it off, which immediately triggered jealousy from my Mint Gen so I had to restarted and lost like an hour of progress 😭
I'm on Rose gen right now, and I plan on having her leave Malcolm at the altar.

I love Johnny Zest now, when I played the sims I used to just ignore his existence cause he looked kinda snobby and annoying, but now I just love him
Yeah in one my saves, I sorted the family tree out, and he's part of the Landgrabbs again. He doesn't have a close relationship with them, but I married him to someone he met at work, and he's got several kids, good income, and lives in the city now in a big apartment.
I'm so glad you gave them a makeover, they really needed it

I really needed this upload today there was a school shooting threat at my school today which is already a scary thing but adding the loss of some of my friends a few years back to a similar situation makes the whole thing 10x harsher and hearing your voice and seeing your beautiful sims helped me calm down a lot thank you 💜💜💜💜

Love these updates! They look so much more how i pictured them. You should quickly add Johnny back into the household to make them related and move him out again! For some reason, TS4 made him not at all related to the other Landgraabs
I actually only play with the pre-made sims right now. I play rotational, on long lifetime, and no aging on not played families. I also gave them a complete make-over, and some even get their ancestors. Plus I added Sims from 1, 2 and 3, to my Sims game. Much more fun to try and recreate the lore around those families.
How is Clare making these old men look like how I picture them like what- they're perfect. And well represented

I feel like I need go mention how I've tried to see how easy it is to 'date' Jonny or Malcom and out of 3 tries in 3 different game saves, Jonny proposed within a week of dating while Malcome started being very mean. 😅💚
What mod do u use to make npcs propose if u dont mind me asking?
@@danielking2816 None, the game does it by itself. I've never had to make them propose, I do have wonderful whims so maybe that helps out. Not sure tho. 😅

I am loving this series. I absolutely love how you update them so naturally and authentically. You make them the characters they should’ve been.
headcanon: before johnny got disowned, him and malcolm were actually pretty close (oddly enough, something about opposites attracting). so johnny, being the goofy lad he is, stole a pair of malcolm’s socks and ended up keeping them when he got disowned. so now they have matching socks as a small reminder of each other.
Clare, I love that you addressed the comments right away and fixed it, and did not try to gloss over it or make it a big deal. You were super professional and we can tell that you truly care about your community. Thanks so much!

ooh ooh! the older malcom landgraab with a son dudley and daughter mimi is a nod to the sims bustin out. he’s the main villain in it and either mimi or dudley are your best friend/roommate depending on which career path you take. that’s why he’s dressed that way too just like sims bustin out malcolm landgraab

I never read the story of the landgraabs but their vibe to me always seemed like scientist or doctor super rich kinda vibe, kid is lonely cause parents are all about work type stuff so I was surprised to hear their real story!
Your makeovers are always so good, omg. I'm a little mad at how hot Malcolm looks now, and Johnny is super adorable this way! I think the consideration you put into their outfits matching their backstories totally makes sense and feels really fitting!
On the console version of the sims 1 if you select 'get a life' there is actually Mimi and Dudley Landgraab that you eventually move in with. So maybe EA wanted to hint that 'Mr.Landgraab' was actually Malcom.

one thing that I realized was that depending on how much money you had, it changed what kind of school your kids goes, so if you're rich, you'll be finding the goths kids, lewis-kim kids, landgrabb kids, and if you're less rich, you'll be with the public school kids, which is pretty cool.
Also I fricken love Johnny, and I always want him to succeed, he's too precious for this world. (I imagine he probably found out about both of his parent's careers and that's the main reason he left)
another fun fact is if you look at the couch and chairs from "industrial loft" kit, they say those are johnny zest's "revenge" against his parents

I’m currently working on my own save file rn and making over townies has been pretty fun. I’m trying to keep it simple with skin details tho bc honestly skin details take away from the sims facial structure sometimes and then all the sims just have almost the same facial structure which I don’t like. I especially don’t like using some on my black sims or simself bc so many just straight up make the nose entirely different 😭. I’m being very simple when it comes to what cc I use too bc cc can break or glitch with updates and I wanna use this save file for a long time without having to update it too much. It’s been rlly fun to build lots and also find lots from the gallery to rlly be the perfect save for me.

Somehow in my game Malcolm and Johnny were really good friends, so that made me make Johnny a landgraab again and Malcolm kids helped get rid of Nancy to get their uncle to come home. Malcom also helped Johnny reach his goal.
Love them, Johnny was my fave. The only thing that you might have miss was to bring him back to the family tree of the Landgraab.
