@axneon you could just find some free to use music to put over a speedpaint. Or you could talk about your art process or like the character you're drawing.
I honestly like the idea of making youtube content to get my art out there more but 1- I dont like talking about my opinions too much and 2- video editing is so time consuming and id rather put that time to use on other things. but it'd be nice to try one day...
as an artist ,i get that you dislike twitter and i do too alot ,but cant help but feel but overtly exaggerate people who post there youtube really isnt good either in general you do not need platforms to become a professional artist but if you want your work to be seen then bluesky and instagram are really just fine youtube suffers from the issue of it being video formatted primarily which doesnt make it convenient for artists programs such as photoshop and sai where they might need things like obs to record timelapses and not many want to see timelapses and not many want to really post them either speaking from what ive experienced

Also I just added this channel 😊
I know I should be showing my art on UA-cam. As you can see, my channel is complete void. While i am on twitter i am in a small twitter parody community. As an artist and parody account my art picks up well in that community, and i got awesome artists of the fandom liking my stuff and commenting on it. What’s holding me back for UA-cam is not knowing what to talk about, not having the equipment or the confidence to ever have a voice here. While i am thinking of posting art here, would it just be a Timelapse? A commentary? Stupid shit? I just can’t seem to know what to talk about.
I was just going to add that BlueSky is lovely for anti-AI muck/literature allies. Now seeing Art Aunty Pikat in your recommended "art sickos" video suggests you are attacking larger targets for expedited growth, a classic yet often abused tactic. It was almost a sub. Cheers

@@sketchreviews I loath emotion stirring for personal gain without mutual consideration, it continues to harm the human condition, which as an aside is part of my phd in process so there is bias. Yet people have dynamic perspectives and surely unawares I rationalize XYZ things that other people might hold a similar sentiment like here, whilst observing that people who are more considerate and earnest tend to maintain more goodwill in the long run. Regardless, I enjoyed your art piece and dispassionate exchanges such as these, cheers again

yeah Twitter has become a shithole but I still find myself going there. Now this might not be your thing but the furry artist there are absolutely amazing. The comment section is a lot more “real” and normal in that community. Now that people are slowly migrating to bluesky it’s sad to see how many artists used Twitter for their livelihood. However I think Twitter never got much support for their small artist in the first place. I hope that one day bluesky becomes the true art haven.
If you wanted a gyat comment you could have just asked because for your art piece i would start barking (i'm joking, maybe). Jokes aside i'll give it a shot, let's see how it goes

I love UA-cam, and my baby channel is keeping me in the art room, so it's doing its job.
