you know, the funny thing i've realised... my art has improved tremendously, but suddenly, i'm drawing furries. life really is just a stable stream of problems.

I know I should be showing my art on UA-cam. As you can see, my channel is complete void. While i am on twitter i am in a small twitter parody community. As an artist and parody account my art picks up well in that community, and i got awesome artists of the fandom liking my stuff and commenting on it. What’s holding me back for UA-cam is not knowing what to talk about, not having the equipment or the confidence to ever have a voice here. While i am thinking of posting art here, would it just be a Timelapse? A commentary? Stupid shit? I just can’t seem to know what to talk about.

My goal this year is to learn to draw faces that don't look like aliens.

I love UA-cam, and my baby channel is keeping me in the art room, so it's doing its job.

Idk why i got recommended this. I made massive progress almost insane within 6 - 7 months. Comparing myself to the best and calling my work trash and doing it again and again until its comparable, funny enough i find massive inspiration in this. Even if people diss my work, It just mean i gotta do better. Utilizing the "Blind method" has actually launched my progress. Gotta work on one thing at a time. and make sure its decent by the time ur done with it. If its bad just do it until its not. And It all comes down to mindset at the end of the day. Mindset and though process comes first before anything, if something is not working, change your perspective or think about it differently. Also something i want to mention is that the people who only focus on completing artworks that take a lot of time, improve the slowest. its better to work on small stuff, sketches. render spheres/cubes for different materials. and do it until it makes sense instead of winging it on long term artworks. For example just draw a leg or a arm and render that instead of doing the whole human with clothing. Hope this can help someone.

ever since i injured my spine by basically js yoinking the whole thing out of place i switched up my approach to art completely bcs i felt there was no reason to hold back nemore. so ive been doing more things that start 3D and then apply that info to 2D space like drawing my eyes in the mirror getting a skull model, walking around my house and drawing random sh to learn perspective etc. etc., very helpful. still hate my luigi mangione spine tho
