I wonder how much fun a game based on the premise of giving the player all of the convenience powers that NPCs have would be.
@@hedgehog3180 if you make them jump off a cliff intentionally to cause a bunch of fall damage, your character insults you, similar to the NPCs in breath of the wild.

Dont forget the change from NPC using voicelines in relation to the other NPC, flipping to single idling voicelines as soon as the other NPC is dead
And the friendly NPC being invisible to him.

Never forget the best part:
Crouching gives you an extra 30m of invisibility, meanwhile standing is tweeting your adress directly to everyone

If i stand the enemy cant detect me even if i walk in front of them.
But if i sneak all enemy regardless of LOS and floor around the area will instantly know where am i.

Yes and no its a trait
You can move past your enemy quick without them being notice you
But you cant 1 tap your enemy since to do tjay you need to sneak first to perform sneak attack.

Honestly admirable how much some enemies just do not care about their dead guards/co-workers after just a few minutes.

@@marioformicadae6637 Never seen such behavior. For example Skyrim gets a lot of flak but even the lowliest of bandit investigates there. They just give up hilariously fast for someone who discovered a dead body tho.
What i would love is an rpg where you pick a class with a character thats over powered and is loud. The gaurds are ordered to watch the base on the threat of death but they purposely act like dumb pcs cant barely see or hear you and play dead when hit. They play dumb because they know if they challenge you it will be their last moments alive.
I love that far cry 3 reference. I hate how small the pool of voice lines is, but I chuckle every time I hear it

Absolutely on point and well done…I love the Alt T-Pose knife stab in slow motion at the end. 10/10 ending.
Sadly you cut it off right before a third guard at a ridiculously long distance spots the player and the entire base goes on alert. But that can be a future video.

The way the gun glitches on the ground is just the icing on the cake
I almost spit out my cereal at the end. The glitches of everything and the total lack of care by the NPC is beyond perfect.
That npc self awareness is actually next level XD
Then there's the much harder (and usually older) stealth sections where taking a single step alerts every guard to your exact coordinates, stance, weapon loadout, favorite food, blood type, mother's maiden name, date of birth, and that one movie that really freaked you out as a kid but you grew up since then and you know it's not real but still sticks in the back of your mind as a reminder to get therapy later...

Also, now they know where you are you basically have a location tracker attached to your ass - none of this 'last known location' BS.

I always thought it was weird how in videogames you could full on peak your head around corners or over cover and somehow the enemies wouldn't notice. Or how you could be keeping pace with an enemy but since you're walking behind them they somehow don't hear you.
The only game that does not do that is mgsv, it takes 24 in game hours until the alert is off.
Stalker ai has something similar, except the scripted ones
These reasons are why I am bad at stealth games, because I think that the guards can do all of that.

I remember playing Splinter Cell one time and holding guard with a gun against his head when not a second after the door right in front of me openened and another guard walked in, looked around for a second and said "Nothing's here" before leaving, completely ignoring me. I wasn't even in the shadow.
Hahahaha other guard didn't want those problems with Sam Fisher. Plus, he never liked that guard anyway 🤣
Guess the guard took lesson from a goon who spotted batman but declined to raise the alarm because he knew better.
From him using binoculars to look at the guards standing right in front of them to the gun glitching like crazy this whole scene is full of jokes all happening at the same time 🤣

It's either like this with the AI being brain-dead or it can spot you from 30 km away from behind walls and hive-mind alert the whole camp of your presence .
That latter one is worse when the hivemind proceeds to always know exactly where you are even if you have some sort of stealth mechanic and try to run away. 20 miles away in a cave? They'll still shoot the ground in your exact direction.

It gets cut off here but since the enemy spotted hoot here, he has to redo the entire mission from start. It doesnt matter if he offed him a split second after he got spotted, the alarm was still raised because everyone has a dead man's switch that only works if they spotted an enemy

Man, I remember in the classic Splinter Cell games where guards did have peripheral vision and not only that, the view cones even took into account idle animations. So if a guard happened to glance in my direction when I was walking, he’d see me. And they could hear you if you took an enemy out, since punching, knifing and even suppressed gunshots aren’t completely silent, so you do have to have some distance to do those stealthily, or use the surrounding ambient noise to hide them like in Chaos Theory.
Nice Far Cry reference. I swear, those pirates say the same 3 things all the time.

I have two video ideas:
1) NPC ammunition: How they have literally unlimited ammo even when the player is scrounging for every single bullet.
2) "Essential" NPCs: Ones so important to the plot that nothing, literally nothing, can kill them.
