9 years on; Ben doesn't look much like this anymore, my AE86 definitely doesn't look like this anymore (it's now the DW86). But the range of Personal wheels in the Driftworks shop still look as good as they always have 💪

What's the difference from the Grinta to the Neo Grinta? I'm debating between this and the Omp Corsica wheel for my S14.
I've literally just had my Personal neo Grinta wheel turn up from #driftworks went for black suede with red stitching for my civic jdm type r fd2 in a 350mm , now thinking I should have gone 330 but oem wheel is a 365 and thought that might have been too big a jump :/ what's your opinion?

@DriftworksLtd yeah thats what im referring to. i have an e46 m3 - so the oem wheel is quite chunky. but i removed the airbags from my car - so i have no use for the oem wheel - hence i want something that thick (grip wise) but in aftermarket form.

How does the horn button get installed? The fitment is really loose from thr horn button to the steering wheel
The horn button fits into the hub/boss.
*The wheel is stylish and well made🔥 **allabout.wiki/006BK** Be sure to buy the appropriate installation kit for your vehicle as well as the wheel. The installation was a bit fussy as you had to hold a spring in place prior to adding the horn button, (and keep it in place as you finished). Grant could work on that issue a bit.*

I have heard that all NRG quick releases are interchangeable, is that true? If so, it kinda defeats the purpose of it being a security feature. I mean a locking cover can be bought, but if it wasn't interchangeable you wouldn't need a lock.
Not all robber carry an nrg wheel just to steal peoples car though. And the quick release wasnt originally made for theft proofing, it was so people could get in and out easier
the problem that i have had w/most aftermarket wheels (only been using MOMO) but they are all thin. i want the thickest wheel possible. any advice? or suggestisons>

So I’m a sprint car driver. I have always ran a 15 inch flat wheel. How different would the car drive if let’s say I put a 14 inch flat on or even a 13? Steer easier with less effort? Or too sketchy
A smaller steering wheel will require more force to turn.

Is it possible to have a personal steering wheel with a NRG short hub and a NRG quick release? Or must I buy a short hub from Personal?
Franklin Littaua Yup, no problem, It depends on the specific NRG quick release as some are only drilled for 1 steering wheel PCD which is typically the Sparco/Momo fitment, whereas others are double drilled for both common types of PCD which will support the Nardi/Personal PCD too. Worst case scenario is you need a small PCD adapter like this www.driftworks.com/steering-wheel-pcd-adaptor.html

Nardi have made OEM wheels for quite a few major manufacturers over the years, and those they have, they can provide branded horn pushes to go with their wheels. do the hands sweat with suede?
Seude is meant for gloves, the gloves will make most people sweat though!
i find suede better than leather or plastic/rubber wheels, have more grip with or without gloves and is better if u got sweaty palms. but suede wheels wear out quick and look patchy where you normally hold on,that is the only down side.
cyranthium if u wear gloves they wont wear down and get ugly
its the oils in your hand that ruin it
if you have a daily and just driving it around all day after work ya itll fuck it up

E36 are hitting the age where one can register as a classic car or is it collector?. Makes inspections way easier in my state. I run no cats, M3 mid section, uuc muffler and stripped. Older than 20years no emissions and super lax on "modern safety equipment"
