Maitre Choux is making afternoon tea now. I took it as an excellent opportunity to revisit them after more than a year.
This video was filmed at the end of the last year (before the lockdown in London). At the moment, Maitre Choux closed all their shops, but I really hope that they will reopen again when things become more normal again.
Their eclairs, choux, and chouquettes are absolutely fantastic, and Joakim Prat, the three Michelin star experienced chef made incredible work designing them. They look not only great but also taste amazing.
Maitre Choux makes one of the best artisan eclairs and choux I tried so far. It even tops many patisseries in France.

Loved each and every video!! Thank you for going with the trouble of putting it up. A small professional tip: when shooting the eating experience try to avoid showing the bite off process. It is not the most easthetic moment when ppl have to wide open their mouth and lick the creme off their lips. Instead, ask for a spoon and shoot the close up of breaking each and every cake with a spoon to give audience the visuals of the cake's fillings, the texture, the color etc. It will make the videos a lot more experiential. 🙂✌️ Wishing u a lot more wonderful afternoons.

I agree that their menu should include more savories as too much sweets can give you a stomach ache, something I learned from enjoying a strawberry buffet in South Korea.

That afternoon tea looks hard to beat😊. If you get the opportunity try the Milestone Hotel in Kensington, I’m told it’s very good but I doubt it could beat what you have here.

Savoury éclairs, hmmm, maybe not to my taste, and not enough choice or should that be choux lol for me. Still interesting though.
So I love that Maitre Choux place for it's food, but the bathroom was a disaster. They really need to renovate in the back to make more ease for their guests and keep up with their hygiene especially during Covid... We had only the sweet pastries as they didn't have much to offer in the case when we were there, I had no clue they even did savory as I don't remember seeing any.

Really good content! But would you consider shooting a video a bit more like a blog where we can hear you and what is going in the shop? The music and your narration is super good, but it kind of takes away the experiential element that I find is essential in this type of video.
