Try plugging in another appliance into the wall socket to see if that works. If not, then try pluggin the appliance into another socket. If that does not help maybe you need to get a technician over.

Here's something for you LG. I've owned 3 competitor washing machines that have all had bearing failure in less than 3 years. As I now have LG heat pump dryer, fridge freezer, OLED TV and Dishwasher, I'd like to buy LG for my new washer. I see this model has a split drum, so that the bearings can be replaced later; which EU/UK models have a two part tub assembly like this? Thank you.

Thanks for being such an LG promotor. Actually all models do. But..... if the bearings brake down that fast with all your previous appliances, you might wonder if the machine is operated properly (e.g. right amount of laundry for each program for example, correct fabrics and so on). Also if the bearings need to be replaced this means you need to replace the outer tub completely, which includes the bearings, not just the bearings since pressing bearings in the tub requires specialized equipment.

@@LGSAEI just hammered the old ones out and slowly hammered the new ones in with a large flat 17mm adaptor and head. Probably not the best solution but getting the bearings out was the simple part. Actually getting the drum out of the tub was the hard part as it was fused together in rust. Mine failed in 3 years as well because of a faulty gasket that wasn't pressed all the way in (from the factory) so water slowly killed the bearings. I think it's as much of a job as it is with any washing machine and it's quite repairable with nothing to break or replace if you do it properly. My model is very similar to the one shown but has a dryer as well.

if i want to remove only the right side in order to clean the rubber pipe that transfers the water to the pump, do i need to diassemble the front?

I'm afraid you cannot remove the right side, as it is not a 'loose' side plate, it's part of the construction. But I'm not sure which pipe you want to clean. Cleaning pipes should not be done manually, but via the Tub Clean program (ua-cam.com/video/T1l8NYAf7Vk/v-deo.html) or a hot wash.

Hi! How do I fix the paddles inside the drum? Two of them started moving around. Thank you!

You mean the laundry lifters? You can't fix them yourself. They are fixed on the outside of the drum (inside the tub), either clamped or fix via a screw. I would advise you to contact a technician.
