This guy is like the motorized bike guru. He makes stuff soooooo easy to understand, no bs, straightforward genuine and honest. Thank you for being you and for helping out so many people
Thanks. I try. Appreciate it
Your engine isn't level in the frame.
The rear mount slid down the seat post and got lower than the front mount before the plate went on.
The air cleaner is jammed up against the rearward slanted seat post.
The oil capacity of those engines (as it says in the engine manual) is 300 ml, not 110.
If your engine was level you could fit 300 ml in it.
So that means if anyone who has an engine installed this way either fix it or tilt the entire bike forward to do the oil change...
Thank you for giving me a few tips on my engine that I bought. You really helped me out with knowing how much to put in it knowing how to drain it properly I’ve worked with two-strokes never a 4 stoke happy riding
Glad I could help!
Good stuff thank you for the video I wasn't sure how much oil to add into my 49cc 4 stroke scooter these tips helped I managed to do it right and everything is running good.
thanks to you and ur amazing staff and workers im beck on track for now
I use a transfer pump for draining my oil, and a mix miser syringe for refilling the engine with oil. Never had the drain plug out of mine. Works well, got over 1500 miles on mine. Keep it changed every 250 miles or so.
Helped me out! Thanks for posting!
Glad it helped!
ur the best im buying a 49 cc 4 stroke give up on the 2 stroke clutch essues bro
Why? Just fix your clutch issues.
respect my brotha from canada
thank you my Northern neighbor
Ok I've gotten into accident on my bike i dropped it once I didn't use it for two whole months. I tried to turned it on 7/4/2020 it didn't start I didn't know it had a gas storage so I drained it out took everything apart to clean the carb. As well the floater and the valves. Also check the spark plugs good too so I'm trying to remove the clutch w/Chuck key to see if it's dead center. Oh yes do I need to add a little bit of gas into tho spark plug hole?
thats the easyest oil change i have ever seen quick
how to make sure hub adapter does not slip? I have 32t sprocket with 1" adapter and everytime I start engine or do top speeds it moves little bit and bend spokes slowly.
Need to make hub adapter fit tighter. File down where 2 bolts that clamp it down are and rough up surfaces where adapter clamps onto hub might help. What gauge spokes? Lighter spokes bend easily. I'll run 11ga spokes
Thank you good vid short sweet to the point
Ps awesome tats
Glad you liked it! Thanks.. love my ink
Just finished my first build got a 4 stroke 49cc engine when i pulled it over the rear tire keeps spinning is it something to do with the idle??
Put your oilite bushing in oil for a day! I didn't know and I ruined it and the clutch bell
Thanks for the help. What kind of brakes do you have on your bike?
I run the coaster on the rear and a hub brake on the front. ua-cam.com/video/7n3jdcs_Sbk/v-deo.html
i would put the back wheel up on a concrete block laying on one side so the oil goes in with the back elevated [if you can get sdomeone to steady the bike]
Hey man I gotta ask whats a good clutch for these POS. Every clutch I buy the springs break on them in under an hour of use.
The issue might be the ratio. Might need a 60 tooth sprocket. The ebay kits are shipping with 3:1 transmissions.
@@HughesMotorized yeah I've got a 56T sprocket and it's got a ton of get up and go now. And this sucker flys. No matter what I do though about 20-30 minutes in I always hear a CLUNK and the clutch is popped
I kept snapping Bell rotors. K Lucifer is right. Beleive it or not, I found it through Walmart.com for $13.25 :www.walmart.com/ip/47cc-49cc-Racing-Clutch-for-2-stroke-Mini-Cag-Pocket-Bike-Mini-Quad-GPX3-S4-A4-MTA1-MTA2/960525621 (I know it says 2-stroke. Just ignore that)
*IMPORTANT* *NOTE* - I did have to run a different spring set. Got a spring assortment kit for $5 at Home Depot (Prefer Lowes, but they didn't have anything) Also replaced those small nuts that hold the springs with locking ones. (8-32 thread I think) Take the Nut WITH YOU to hardware store to be sure. Sorry to yell, but those things are very important, and I don't want to waste your time.
Quick question does the oil drain plug have a gasket?
Yes. It has a fiber washer
hey i been trying to start my motorized bike for a few weeks now rand new but i have no ignition can you help me with starting it i tried getting new spark plugs and even switching around the wiring
check out Hghes Motorized on Facebook. Post some detailed pics of what you have & the wiring
@randy s he said no ignition which means no spark ether its not wired up correctly or it has bad ignition coil
How many letters the proper oil change
I am using the 79cc & the drain plug is on the side below the pull starter. So close the drain plug won't come out. A carbide de burring bit fixed the plate the motor sits on. Which goes to show, It's always something. Ride safe everyone.
For the little drip plate I cut one out of a soda can I had next to me and it works ok, also make sure to have some cardboard under the bike...
what kind of oil should i use to break in my 49cc 4 stroke? and what ind of oil should i use after break in ? PLEASE any info is helpful
10w 30 or 30wt from auto parts store
10w30 change it after the first 5rs of riding then you should be good for another 60hrs of riding
hahhaha i love your humor
Uhhh I was hoping this would tell me what kind of oil to use
Any cheap 30wt oil is fine
@@HughesMotorized ok thanks
how long/miles until its wise to give it an oil change
I'd say when oil gets dirty. Do first change after like 2 tanks of gas then every 6 months minimum especially after storing for winter and every 5-6 gallons run if you ride a lot
@@HughesMotorized ok thanks for that info mate appreciate that cheers 👍
@@joerubyred4552 every 60hrs is pretty good
@@HughesMotorized Does it really need to be changed this often? If regular motor oil in a car can be changed about every 5k miles, what makes this type of oil degrade that it needs to be changed this often? I thought it was like manual transmission gear oil which was there for good. Can you please educate us? Thanks.
@@taboracho621 these engines dont have an oil filter and the oil gets dirty fast

110ml new oil? 😲
Awesome aquateam hungerforce tat
Dancing is forbidden!
Hmmm ,. I've always used funnels on MCs scooter's, motorized bikes, lawnmowers edgers etc. 😳
you ever have problems with bogging on these engines
not so much unless the choke is on
@@HughesMotorized I just order a new carb I think carb issue possibly
After you fill your oil, fill your tire with air lol
I put a new Worksman front wheel w/ a moped style hub brake on it
hi ! i found you from LA Hover's shoutout ! ua-cam.com/channels/Kp8P6-yigfBSdJeVNFm0_w.html
I love 2 stroke 4 stroke bicycle motorcycles , much love !
Cool beans. I'll check him out
Hey you're engine sounds restricted Rev limiter needs to be removed from the engine
That's so wrong that engine takes 8 oz of oil
8.48 oz (250ml) to be exact is what it is listed as. I don't remember how I came up w/ the 110ml. Ima have to recheck that. Thanks
@@HughesMotorized I literally just got done installing one in my bike right now and I just put the oil in before I put the engine in and had it tilted back put the 8 oz in maybe a little over but I noticed that if I try to open up the oil dip stick with 8 oz it will leak out so you either have to leave your bike forward or take out the engine which isn't too big of a deal
@@brandonjohnson2212 thanks. I will redo the vid. Don't want to mislead or confuse folks. Ride on!
How often should I change the oil in my gas bike? I've been doing about every 10 hours of run time.
Some say 10 hours when new then every 50 hours of running. I just change it when it gets black.
@@HughesMotorized OK so I did the oil change and the oil really smelled like fuel is that normal?
