That’s so lovely, I built mine last week and added lots of stuff from my farm and supermarket sets I got from Australia, now it’s a supermarket on the inside, a store room in the middle and staff apartment at the top with a full market on the open side with fruit, veggies and even two cows at the back 🤣, I just love the creativity with bricks.
I am just discovering my creativity. I really enjoy it.🥰
Good review- and great job on your moc part. I tend to make alterations with many of my Lego sets, some are small and others are large esp if I have purchased 2 sets. Would love to see a video showing all your Modular’s. Wondering which ones are Lego and which are alt builds? They all look great. Do you tend to stick with a specific store on Ali or switch around as they do tend to change names often.

I started on Ali I was using Maria's Magic and Global Boutique Store. I recently changed over to other resellers for a little more peace of mind. Thank you for your support. 😀
Nice review and the moc roof is an interesting and improved addition. This set gets a lot of hate, but is still interesting. I have been considering buying an alternate version for this too, so this has helped my decision. Do you have some kind of city on the card? Seen you have a lot of great sets and wondering if it’s something you’ve considering and not just having on shelves

Personally I do not like this one. It is the only Lego modular that I definitely will not buy (well, and the diner, but that is because I already own a nice variation of that one by Mould King). I really don't think that it fits very well in the series. By the way, I have just finished building a very nice clone of the cafe corner (the first Lego modular) and that one is also complete empty. Only some very simple stairs have been included. If you like a lot of detail inside have a look at the cottages from Funwhole. In those sets even an (extensive) light kit is standard included. If you want that in a Lego modular you have to pay a lot extra on top of the already comparatively high price.

I built the Ghostbusters HQ from China because it is "retired." If you have a good supply of bricks it works out. I found that I got a lot of brick that didn't go with the set and quite a few bricks short. This was my first China kit and I have 2 more (all purchased at the same time). Wish me luck. Your's looked great by the way.
Yes a spare parts collection is a must when doing Alt bricks. Unless you don't mind waiting, I don't like waiting🤣. I have been lucky, any missing or damaged pieces have been small and I had them on hand. I do keep a spare baseplate on hand. I have been looking at Ghostbusters HQ, I am thinking about getting the King Version from Youmko. May I ask where you got yours from? I hear the bags are not numbered😯. I was wondering what site have you found is the best place to buy the sets? My girlfriend wants the older Modular’s. But the prices for them are so expensive. I’ve been building Modular’s for her to build her city.
