Marcos definitely has a great voice that fits well, but if you follow this with Lions At The Gate you are instantly blasted into the stratosphere. The range, nuance, emotional connection and sheer force that Christian can bring is untouchable. If we could just sneak some percussion in there they would be complete. Still love Ill Nino of course.

I stopped listening to Ill Nino's Newer Catalog once Cristian left. I was ok with a new Singer and ok with their Live performances since the band wants to continue but Re recording the same song during the Cristian era that wasn't their most popular and that Cristian re purposed it on his Solo Album is insane. They need to retire the "I'll Nino" and continue with a new band for their style of music. Leal is a decent Vocalist but sucks he had to join them during a time the band has no identity.

Also, it's kind of ironic that they chose the exact same song that he also released a new version on his solo cd... it seems like a competition, something like that...
Yeah, there are a handful of things that make it seem like Ill Nino's dealing with a bit of copium. They're pretty hostile at just the mention of Cristian, their song This Is Over has that line "Lions in the cage" which seems to allude to Cristian's new band Lions at the Gate, bringing back Marc Rizzo after the whole "playing to a tape" and Cris beef, and they choose to cover the same song Cris did on his acoustic album (out of all the other songs). Hell, could understand How Can I Live, since that was on Freddy vs. Jason and would be an understandable selection for its popularity. But nah, Numb 2023 everybody.

I like the cover, but to me just sounds like the vocals redone? Rizzo was on the track 20 years ago already, so this was already a jardel and rizzo track. Marcos did a good job with it but can we get Ill Mortals already? This has Enigma written all over from release date status, itll be released this date, nope sorry this date, nope sorry this date… year later 2008.
Even Enigma was released faster. They've started the recording of Illmortals in Summer 2020 lol, it's already been 3 years and it's still unreleased. And comparing to Enigma development hell now they're not even commenting on delays, and apologies for the delay is the joke to them now, Dave is just banning anyone asking. 'Familia'

But guys... Marcos is just amazing. He perfectly fits the band. I just can't help but love him as well. Es imposible no echar de menos a Cristian Machado pero he de decir que el nuevo vocalista es verdaderamente bueno.
Ill niño fue una banda que me introdujo mucho en el mundo del numetal y le tengo que dar las gracias sobretodo a los 2 primeros discos que sacaron porque aún los escucho después de tantos años y me encantan. Revolution revolución y confession fueron 2 discazos. Ojalá logreis sacar discos tan buenos como esos. Desde España, alguien que los ha visto varias veces en Madrid en la riviera, os deseo la mayor de las suertes para la nueva formación y ojalá logreis reconocimiento mundial todavía más grande del que tenéis.

Esta banda pertenece a los viejos años del 2000 en adelante esos eran tiempos de oro del nu metal metalcore como Linkin park spineshank etc.. pues los tiempos cambian y nuevas generaciones vienen y estas bandas quedan olvidadas una que otra banda sigue vigente aun

Whats the point with Christian
This dude has a great voice, but he doesn't sing with his heart. He is actually covering a song that was written by cristian. In live concerts he detunes everytime. He is an interpreter and not a singer. I am so sorry for him making this videos for ill niño. He could have his own band and he would be very good. But ill niño needs to stop singing old songs. It is clear that they don't achive the level of cristian in the band. They have to sing his new material and that only. A name of a band is nothing. Cristian was Ill niño and still is even if he doesn't have the legal name. What Cristian did or did not in the past, we don't know. We weren't there to see all the things that were said. He was more worthy cause he left and did a lot of different things. Then he did his solo album that has 2 songs that he wrote, and he sang it with his heart. But, he has the right to do it cause he is the author. Only 2 songs from ill niño and then new material that is really good. He sound like an acoustic from ill niño itself. Cause he is and he will be always the soul of ill niño
