$200,000 I'd just buy a base 150 and take it to the exhaust shop for mufflers.
This thing will likely never be pushed to its limits but it has everything you'll ever want in a toy.
Can buy a TRX and send it to Hennessey for the Mammoth 1000 package and it will STILL be cheaper than this! Or a TRX and Charger Hellcat/ TRX and JL 392. These guys are smoking crack on the price of this truck.
I currently own a 2019 Raptor, 2019 5.0 pp1, and 2021 trakchawk.
How are they smoking crack if it’s working? People are paying insane markups. They are sharks. I’m in the market for a Raptor R. The lowest markup I’ve got so far is 30k. I’ve been calling like crazy. Dealer I bought my raptor from sold one used for 222k. People paying for it. So I can’t blame them. Ford Corp needs to put a stop to it but I don’t know if they legally can. I h got one dealer ask me to submit offer. She said, “we are looking the get the highest offer.” ANIMALS LOL
Or, hear me out, buy a 97 f250 with the 7.3 idi and have $90k left over

@@dolguldur4706 still you don’t get enough benefits for your money in my opinion. The interior is basically really bad for the price, confort is abysmal compared to car in the same price range and same for performances (excluding straight line acceleration that is more a party trick than a real measurement of the drive performances of a car). Yes you can go really fast off-road but, even if this is the main goal of your driving experience, you can go almost as fast in a TRX or even in a normal Raptor (I want really to see how many person are able to to use 100% of that power) and save a lot of money.

@@arkhsm the best in a really narrow category. The only thing you can think it is the best in is baja. All the rest of the categories, there are much better cars, even for off-roading. I’m any case, if someone has money, he is free to throw it away how he wants. My point is that this truck is absurdly bad value for your money, that’s it

Stock for stock trx destroys the raptor r in acceleration the only vide of a raptor r beating a trx is where they put the trx on 37s and didn't re gear it to compensate. On paper the raptor R should destroy the trx but in real life that's just not the case.

Unless you live near a desert & can run these trucks out there at speed, which is what they're made for, what's the point? How often do people that live right next to a desert even do that? Probably not very often. They're both also too big & wide for most regular off-roading/trails. Besides, the only off-roading 99% of these trucks will ever see is maybe driving down a gravel driveway. They also can't tow or haul as much weight as the cheaper Ram 1500s/Ford F-150s. On top of that both get terrible gas mileage. So again what's the point of these trucks other than to show everyone else that you're insecure & hung like a lesbian?
The TRX still has the better interior. Value-wise the TRX is the better option. Raptor R is way more expensive due to all the dealer markups and the interior of the Raptor R is boring when Ford had the chance to do something dramatically unique and special for the Raptor R and they didn't. TRX all day.
Completely agree. Ford is smart to let dealers gouge ignorant buyers who will never and I mean never test the limits of their vehicles (that is at least until they are several $4K/month payments behind).
I actually think the interior is better then a trx its more manly in my opinion not a sissy looking interior

TRX has a racing inspired interior in my opinion vs Raptor R's basic bitch interior. You really can't tell the difference between a regular Raptor vs a Raptor R interior but the TRX interior definitely stands out vs a Ram Rebel interior.

It should use GPS and weather information to at least suggest a drive mode for the current conditions, or better yet an option to automatically choose it for you if you want.

Meh. I had one at work close to when they first came out. Definitely an excellent off-road vehicle but costly. I was sneaking around at night using night vision goggles and busted one of the rims. That was $3,000 repair! Now they cost $200k? I think you’d be way better off with a fully-loaded F250.
I'm surprised you were flooring this thing brand new during the break-in period. I guess it's pretty common during test drives... That's why I only by cars off the lot with 2 or fewer miles on them.

Lowest markup up I found is 30k. I’m willing to do 10k. I bought my 2021 in 1/2022 for 4k markup. That was a good deal at the time. I’ll do 15k for raptor r. I have a 2019 raptor supercrew that I want to upgrade. V6 is trash. Literally garbage.

The truck itself is around $110,000 or so. I think Ford should not supply dealers with these trucks if they're going to price gouge them. Especially double the price. But, Ford also made the SuperGay Ranger Raptor and the SuperGay Bronco Raptor, so they obviously don't have a clue about anything. I really liked my Raptor until they started all the gay stuff. Now it's for sale. How about building a nice, reasonably priced truck for my family and don't worry about who people like to have sex with. Crazy that you would drive a 200K truck like this and possibly void the warranty for the fool who will buy this truck for 200k. FYI the TRX beats the Raptor R 0-60 every time if the TRX owner knows how to drive.
