Actually a very long joke requiring memory of said people what they were doing what was going on around them..

God every time I hear the shallow grave joke it is such a shaggy dog tail just to get to that punch line that comes out of nowhere a very very very deep punchline. Sweet baby Jesus ribs Norm Macdonald the funniest goddamn person

Great compilation of the GOAT. He found the humor in "cheese sandwiches" like a fucking wizard. If he had said "grilled cheese sandwiches" it wouldn't work. Unbelievable.

For me, the thing about norm is you’re already laughing before he gets to the punchline and you knew the punchline anyway.
The other thing is he tells stories, everybody else just tells jokes. Big difference.

The bed and breakfast joke was hilarious because it was a long rambling waste of time during prime time tv. Every second that goes by is expensive and potential ad money... but he just went on and on in mundane detail about a scrabble game. Hilarious.

11:44 Norm doing an impression of Janice's third friend being interviewed by a news crew investigating her abduction, but somehow acting as if she's an old chunk of coal telling her ol' friend Janice's stories to her distant relatives who've dropped by her house or something. "I'll tell you something about Janice, is that who you're asking me about, Janice?"
