Brian Fallon - Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts (Acoustic)

- Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem is performing a live solo acoustic version of Blue Jeans & White T-Shirt. I've scanned whole youtube for that version but couldn't find it, so here it is. It's by far my favourite acoustic version of a Gaslight song. Hope you'll enjoy it.
Big thanks go out to dimestoresaints.com for the audio file and to all the great photographers and their photos that I used in my video. Special thanks to BreathlessConni, Richelle Akimow, Zack Shapiro, bob_sanderson, Markus Unger & Valderie.
Stay lucky. ♥
The man sings as if every single breath is his last. That's what makes him amazing. You can feel his pulse when he sings. For a few brief minutes at a time, he begs you to become a part of his soul. He rarely hits every note, but it's never anything short of perfect.
"i'd love you forever if i've ever loved at all" are words that keep me up at night
2021 responding that the line still means as much now as back then!
I'd like to thank Brian for always singing his heart out. His voice, songs and bands have meant the world to me and my close family for the past 15 years. Through good times and bad he's always made it stick and very, very few people can do that anymore. Please keep writing; your impact on music is more important than you'll ever know. I'll be in the crowd next time you're down in Asbury singing my heart out for those who aren't here anymore. If you can stop the crowd for a second and tell all of us that people, music, hope, and love matters it would mean the world to a lot of your fans.
RIP to my brother and best friend I could ever ask for Jesse. I miss you every day and nothing will be the same without you.
I love Brian Fallon's voice so much. It's not technically great, but he sings with a great amount of passion and honesty. Every word sounds truthful, which is what makes the songs so beautiful.
My fiance' gets so mad at me, because I listen to Brians songs non stop...all day...everyday... But I can't help it. His music is how I feel, and I believe it helps me get through the day. Thank you Mr. Fallon.
I'm not an emotional person whatsoever, but this song brings tears in my eyes. This is perfection.
When the picture of Brian and Alex comes up with the "arms in our brothers' arms" line... Gets me every time...
This is the best version of this song I have ever heard, thanks.
A few years ago in Vancouver, I got kicked out hive his sit down acoustic show for fighting....it was worth it thanks for playing the song I kept yelling. The couple behind me talked through every song . Smile every time I think of that night.....every song had me in tears
I can't even handle how brilliant this is.
So incredibly powerful.
hes the only one I dont get mad at when he doesnt sing perfect! i like their live performances
His vocal flaws are what makes his performances flawless.
years later after hearing this song i'm singing with one of my heroes, wearing blue jeans and a white tee shirt.
Little imperfections is what I love about this band.
Goddamn great
lovely
Thx for the upload... ;-)
@SweetBleedingHeart whoa so this is like a year after you posted this but i found this video through googling my shop. thanks for the kind words about my art! :) the video is fantastic!
@QHero7
I found that record photo in the painter shop of Valderie. She made wonderful hand painted records. There is also some other Gaslight stuff like paintings of "The Spirit of Jazz", "Miles Davis and the Cool" & "1930".
Check out her shop: etsy.com/shop/valderie
Best song ever?
@Sofiafromhell They were spinning back circles .... i think
If I ever get a tattoo it would be of lyrics from this song.
@SweetBleedingHeart
where did you get this wonderful song from?
Mines happening in two weeks hahaha
@Crystal71687 exactly a lot like the boss
@Crystal71687 I hear a lot of people say that but I don't really agree with it.
What I love about him is how much passion he pours into every word he's singing, but come on, it would sound better if he hit the right notes.
@ThorHammerism That's from being a great songwriter and an icon. He could still sing better. Old merits are not an excuse to be lazy.
