That's Miguelito. It's a spicy sugary powder. You can get that at pretty much any Mexican convenience store that's so good and so addicting i be eating it out the bottle. Idk why but it's not well known compared to tajin atleast
AS SOON AS I SAW TGE FRUIT I GOT SO HAPPY AND MY MOUTH WATERED TUNA’S ARE MY FAVORITE!!! For anyone who doesn’t know Tuna’s are also known as cactus fruit we call them “Tuna’s” in certain parts of Mexico and they’re very popular in Zacatecas :)
OMG.... Miguelito.... I havent had it in years!!!! It's so good. Literally edible crack pretty much lol. Imagine sugar and tajin had a baby, that would be Miguelito.
I just tried it recently from a friend. It was caramel lollipops with a Miguelito center and oh my goodness it was divine!!! Especially cuz it wasn’t like our caramel with heavy cream and butter it was just caramelized sugar. Amazing.
is it really spicy? i wanna try it but my spice tolaranceis pretty much non existent. my mexican friend has to make a special mild salsa for me when she invites me over for lunch😭
*Viva México. México is not referred with female pronouns and in that case is not necessary. Is just "¡Viva México!". And I agree with that, ¡viva México!
I love that whene you’re cooking or showing food you jus sit there quietly showing us and people in the back are having full conversations 😭😂 idk why but it makes me hysterical sometimes 😂😂.
Finally this carts have made their way in my country Chile, surprisingly I have a cart close to my home so guess who's buying every time? Yeah, I'm going broke but these are so good 😭
Las tunas is still in season. When I was over in Puebla, my aunt was getting some fresh ones to eat. The spines are quite prickly. Use a fork to take them off. Not your bare hands like I was doing.
Chamoy is originated in the Philippines during the Manila Galleon, 1565-1815. There is a Filipino candy that’s called Tsampoy na Sampalok (Tamarind-Tsampoy) it is basically ripe tamarind simmered in a salt-and-sugar mixture, drained, then rolled into balls. Different types of Tsampoy moist, dry, dark red to black, pink to red, sweet, sour, salty or spicy.
People in Iran need help! I'm asking you to be their voice for the rest of the world. People are fighting for their lives and their loved ones and now they need your help to be heard.
People in Mexico need help our government is taking women and children and starting trafficking rings and then blaming them on cartels and currently a ton of Americans are moving to Mexico which is forcing us out of our homes now that rent prices are rising families are being left in the streets to starve because they can’t make enough money to feed themselves so they turn to crime
They are so giving. This looks so delicious. If that were in the US, it'd be a pinch of seasoning, a quick squirt if sauce, half the fruit and a drop of lime juice. And a plastic bag for the mess, not at all, you barely get a free napkin.
Oh man, MIGUELITOS and prickly pear!! 😋 Grew up eating that stuff. Weird fact: I used to be embarrassed to eat that particular chili powder around folks that weren't familiar with the brand. Especially if I hadn't had a chance to empty the contents into a sandwich baggie. Way back in the day (20yrs ago) the logo had a little, "Chinese" boy wearing a coolie hat. The lettering is still the same Americanized version of, "Oriental writing design". 🤦🏽♀️ It wasn't the only treat I have encountered to be a little racist or unsettling. I remembered a pickled plum, a twist on umeboshi from a company here in TX using the same little boy in the coolie hat logo. So glad they quietly changed the logos. Wow, that one treat took me way back. Crazy how time change.
When my grandma was young, she would go out to the mountains and pick the tunas(prickly pears) from the cacti fresh! They are my favorite, especially the white ones 😋
In Thailand & Cambodia, we choose the kinds of fruit we want then they shake/mix everything together in a bowl before transfer it to the takeaway bag. That way all the pieces get covered & taste good.
Heaven in a cup😍 My fave would be mango, cucumber and pineapple with Limón , chamoy and Miguelito… Un snack refrescante. Uuuuu the strawberry with lime and Miguelito is OUT OF THIS WORLD
