From my test, it looks like Wonder Animation does not model the environment automatically. In the current build, as of the writing of this comment, you have to provide it with an environment for it to use to place your character with the animation derived from the actors in your live-action footage. You can use an empty scene, or one of the template environments.
This seems to be more marketing fluff. Since the artist has to build the environment himself, Wonderstudio is essentially doing a 2 person mocap and tracking from the footage. Isn't that something Wonderstudio was already doing? Ok, so they added in the feature of 3d camera tracking - that was something in the works for a while anyway.
Wow -you have been busy! I hope this will be less expensive then the Act One facial capture -nice job on the interview by the way. Thank you for keeping us updated. 😃
No it didn't, at least not this current version. You have to provide it with an environment to use for it to place your characters, and cameras, plus lighting.
This seems impressive, way better than Act One facial capture, cause it is 3d so you can post process it, edit it. But, I will hold my judgement until I see Actual Result, it always looks sunshine & rainbows at first. Hope you do some tests & show us.....
derives mocap from your footage both for facial animation and full body animation, and in addition creates cameras and a 3D scene using AI from your footage.. there is an option to upload your own environment, but its currently not yet supported.
Sooo, for an animated fight scene...You could submit footage from a real boxing fight of 2 people, then make your own video/scene and custom characters with that footage of them boxing?
Technically pretty darn incredible, but the stiff acting and performance in the video doesn't translate well to the toon/pixar style world. Maybe be as a draft setup this could work, but look at how animators act out their scenes before they animate for references, worlds apart.

Thank you for the overview, really exciting to see story telling become more accessible to a wider audience.

Thank you!!
Thats crazy insane!! Life of 3D artists won't be the same in a couple of months.😐
Exciting! Looking forward to seeing your test footage
This and Skyglass are the only ai tools I find really interesting for artist since the hype around AI.
I missed that announcement of the purchase.
Did the software just model the entire scene?
Every building, objects, people?
That is amazing, if true

This can be used on Old movies can use this to 3d model old sets from ONLY using the old footage
Amazing!
Does the 3d environment also can be generated from the video and edit in 3D software?
This software made me look for pricing on iphone tripods on Amazon
How many characters can i replace simultaneously?
For example if i wanna change 10 characters in a frame , is it possible?
Sooo - Is this a video mocap with camera tracking?
It certainly looks impressive (and getting my mind quite thoughtful ;-) )

@@SolomonJagwe Wait a minute... are you saying it's actually creating the 3D scene in poly form, from the video as well..?
@@davekite5690 my first test is rendering now, I will be able to answer that soon enough...

Clickbait, not showing how it works!
Free?
No. Zero free credits.

Autosesk is THE WORST COMAPNY TO BUY ANOTHER TECH. Surprised this was not shelved and disappeared. Price point will be on an outrageous model.
