I've had that tent for awhile and just a tip, when I got it, I thought that ground cloth was supposed to be a floor for the "garage" and have been using it for that ever since. Fits perfect and hooks in place. (LOL, I've never considered putting the bike in there either. It has a cover if weather's really bad.)
It is supposed to go underneath the main tent to protect it from rocks, stones and wear from hard ground. In time it will wear out and then you just replace the extra sheet and you don't need to repair or replace the tent itself.
I just don't think I could cope with waking up to that much red, it would be like finding myself back in the womb. I have a theory on who buys the Lone Rider tent, they claim it's for the garage, to park their bikes inside, but really it's for the middle aged biker who can no longer get his jeans on lying down.
That looks like a great tent for anybody so camping with or without a motorcycle!
For sure, it's great. We just camped out on the spit in Homer Alaska and it was perfect to chill in that extra room.
I never saw the need for the “motorcycle garage” tents but now I can see, especially w two people, how nice of a space it is!
Or three, if we are ever camping together and hanging out in crap weather! Yeah the extra room is super nice.
That looks like a really good tent. Thanks for explaining.

Yeah we've used it as a floor a couple times. We forgot to mention so thanks for bringing it up in the comments for others!

And there's nothing wrong with that! We ain't gettin any younger!
@@SteelJM1 why do you think I've started saving? I'm including myself in that category.
🤣
Ah, so Caitlyn is not a morning person either. Night Owls unite!
Yup, and she needs like 12-14 hours of sleep per day.
