    First time watcher, Stephanie that was a great, well made video. I can tell you are not a newbie
    at camping. Very detailed and making sure things are done correctly. Looks like a beautiful State
    Park. When I pull to Florida though, we generally stay at Top Sail. Gotta catch some waves !!!!! I'll

    Nice set up...mpgs and reliability. For content do your own repairs and maintenance on the truck + RV? Strong suggestion, your trailer is new, apply elastomeric on the roof. It is a coating for the roof. It will ensure your roof last longer + no leaks. Good stiff broom to clean and the application is like paint. I added solar panels and upgraded the battery to a 200 ah lithium off Amazon.

    One of the first rules for a new camper - NEVER cook fish in your camper, please take it from experience. For that Salmon, wrap it in foil, put it on charcoal (most Florida State Parks have grills on site), add a little salt and pepper and you will have magnificent fish.

    Another great video by my E-Pro sister! We have heard great things about Paynes Prairie and it is on our list of places to visit. Great footage you got!
    A couple of tips for you:
    1. Although you did say the bugs were kind of bad, when it is hot, we always cook outside using either our electric griddle or hot plate (if we have electrical hookup) or the gas griddle if boondocking. If it is raining we just put out the awning (it is usually out anyway).
    2. When we do cook inside and have electrical hookups, we use our electric griddle or dual hot plate to save on using our propane. Just a thought.
    Look forward to your next video and safe travels!

    I'm up to my eyeballs in travel trailer research as I'm selling my house to travel for a bit... before I get too old with regrets. Why did you choose a stick built trailer? And if it was all about the initial price... are you worried about resale value and reliability? My parents had issues with both their pull behind and fifth wheel (both developed leaks), and that was years ago... way before the haphazard covid days. I'm leaning towards used molded fiberglass or at least a mfg'er NOT near Elkhart 😊. I read good things about NuCamp's quality and customer service (teardrops). Any experience with them?
    And you can cook your fish any damn place ya please... 😁

    • @lifewithstephanie42
      @lifewithstephanie42  5 місяців тому +1

      In my research getting my first trailer, I wanted something small to start with. But it had to have a bed, bathroom, and kitchen. I really wanted an Airstream Bambi but that was out of my price range. I’ll still get an Airstream someday ☀️ but bigger than a Bambi. I was also told to look for smooth fiberglass siding to prevent future leaks, and that led me to this cute little E-Pro. It’s a great little starter and I’m already thinking I need a bigger trailer but not for awhile ☀️ It’s a process and I’m slowly figuring it out. We will see ☀️

    • @justpedal65
      @justpedal65 5 місяців тому +1

      @lifewithstephanie42 👍 I'm looking at used Airstreams too. The Basecamp and short Caravel have caught my eye. One of the biggest reasons I'm getting out of home ownership is to get away from the maintenance (and proprty tax... ugh!). I'm going to rent when I've had my fill of traveling, so I don't want to turn the provincial corner, only to be crawling around in and on a travel trailer. So, my thoughts are used, well maintained, and a mfg'r that has renowned customer service... even though the molded fiberglass, teardrops, and Airstreams are still north of $25K used. Thanks for replying!
