People acting crazy gets scarier the older I get. Fact is, you can't predict crazy and when the craziness has a 2 ton battering ram, it gets sketchy... Also, I think I'm going to steal that flatbread idea. I thought it looked amazing but Cody's reaction sealed the deal. His eyes looked like a loony toon character on that first bite!
If you head down the state, I am 5 miles north of Rainbow Springs State Park. If you need a place to hang for a day or two, we have a couple acres with hookus. Safe Travels.
If you want manatees make it down to Three Sisters and it won't disappoint! Because of the cold weather they're everywhere! We love seeing them. Some of them have little radio units on them for tracking and there's many babies. PLUS think about doing a diving tour, on the Crystal River, it is an experience that is a once in a life time!!! You can't touch them but if they touch you, its OK. My SIL had a baby nibble on his beard Cody! He talks about it still today, and that was 5 years ago!!!
I was born and raised in north central Florida lived here my whole life and I can’t stand the beach the sand, the people, the heat and the sunburn other than that Florida is great I also don’t think we have as many nuts and problems as California now there’s a state I will stay out of. Good video!
Have you guys been to Devils Grotto in Gainesville? It’s seriously cool! Try silver spring outside of Ocala. Take a glass bottom boat but look out for the monkeys!! One or more of the Tarzan movies were filed there and my elementary school principal was a swim coach directing! Those lowlifes in the forest are the worst! Florida native here!
You guys need to go to Crystal River to see the Manatees,,,The place is loaded with them ! And there is a Park right up the road that has them year round plus A hippo !!! Gators birds Ect. Great place to visit.
I am sorry you guys had that experience in our area. We are not all like that and know how to properly act in a campground. My family swims at wakulla springs and jump off the platform into the spring it is awsome and feels so wonderful. Come back and swim this summer. The lodge and the boat tour are so special. You have really found one of Florida's hidden gems. .I wish I would have know you guys were in the area I live in the country and you guys could have hooked up for free. Enjoy your stay.
I had a pretty rough day today. But I got a good laugh when Cody said, "These squirrels are gonna be the death of me." I laughed my butt off! Me too Bro! I've been at war with squirrels for years! I needed that. Thank you both for the laughs and the awesome content!
Welcome to Florida when you get south of like Brooksville we are all housing communities. I would recommend staying in the upper part. It is much prettier and way less crowded. that lodge in Wakulla is very charming and old south
My grandmother lived in the town of Dunnellon Florida in the winter. When I was 14 we went to see her and we went to Rainbow Springs State Park and Crystal River State Park. We rode on Glass bottom boats and saw some very beautiful sights. Loved seeing the manatees!
I have to say, I enjoy seeing someone on UA-cam finally doing something different besides Utah or Arizona state parks. Also, I grew up near Apalach, Port Saint Joe, and you said it correctly Apalachicola or the locals say it is Apalach. If you get the chance, check out Mexico Beach. It’s right on the water and the view is amazing. Also there is also the Cape Sands Blast. There’s a park on the end of the Cape. Enjoy and love your videos. ❤
From there glad your enjoying it all...im from pensacola..but used to camp at fort pickens ,ft. Macre too...its all beautiful to me...lovely video...the salt air is so good for you..water too....yeah summer time the insects arent friendly in Florida, humid too...im up.in the pnw...😊😊
The sand on Appalachacola beaches is made of crystal, it scrunches under your feet and is white as snow...my fave is Cape San Blas, i.e. St Joseph Peninsula Campground
Yea right down the road from me is wakulla springs and I used to swim there all the time and go on glass bottom boat rides. Used to be a 3rd level to jump off of many years ago but was a bit dangerous. I haven’t been in years brings back a lot of memories.
Never expected you guys to show up in our neck of the woods. We're 10 miles from Falling Waters. We'll be in Starke,FL for the SAVE Expo March 1st through 3rd, y'all should check it out if you have a chance.
The tulip poplar trail in Smoky Mountains TN.. Once had the largest tulip poplar tree in the USA. We went there so may times as children with our parents. It fell some years ago.
I was born in Atlanta but moved to Florida when I was 5. Lived there 27 years and the Florida videos bring back so many memories! We floated down Rainbow River in the summer and camped out and ate some amazing campfire food. Saw Manatees in the water! A fellow camper brought a canoe and got close to the riverbank and ran into a tree limb, which unfortunately had a wasp nest that got disturbed! He had to literally jump under the water to stop getting stung 😳 He ended up in the ER. He swelled up so bad! Other than THAT it was an amazing experience! I hope y’all can visit Clearwater lake sometime when it’s warm enough to swim! It’s spring fed so the cold water feels so good on a hot day. It’s like a little beach with perfectly clear water, hence the name of the lake 😎 Now I want to go back down to Florida lol. Thanks for the memories guys! Fantastic vlog as always 👏💜
Thanks for your video about Wakulla Springs boat tour. I just reserved a spot since I'll be going right by on my way from Hillsborough River to Big Lagoon in May. Nice break on a long drive day.
The waterfall was beautiful. Ix̌m surprised they left a fire burning when they left. I make a flatbread pizza really similar to yours, with caramelized onions and whatever mushrooms I have on hand. It's worth a try 😊. We really enjoy it. I can't believe just how destructive people can be. Or how they can feel that kind of behavior is acceptable. Your boat trip was so cool. And the lodge was beautiful! Another great vlog from you two. Thank you so much. Happy camping 😊.
There are idiots everywhere but when you’re out in the middle of nowhere you’re going to have to be more cautious and prepared to protect yourself. It’s a shame but it’s reality. I lived in the Florida Keys for years but I explored very little of the mainland and you just showed me places that I never heard of. Very cool, Kelly you should do a camping cook book your recipes look simple but they always make me hungry when I watch. Y’all please stay safe. Until next time ☮️ out.
I knew you were headed to Florida! I’m so blessed to live in Pensacola. Houston native. Love my home state of Texas (especially the food!), but I can’t ever see myself leaving this beautiful place!
If you want to see manatees in super clear blue water, go to Blue Springs near Deland. Also, Three Sister Springs in Crystal River. You can actually swim with them in Crystal River! We went to Falling Waters once in the summer, but there was no water falling and some poor people were trying to get married in front of the waterfall! If you are ever back in the panhandle, check out Ponce DeLeon Springs and Morrison Springs. Morrison Springs is good for kayak and paddle boarding. As a Floridian (for the past 20+ yrs), I’m really ashamed of those drunks tearing stuff up. Sorry you experienced that. I don’t think I would have felt comfortable staying the night there with the fire burning so close.
I’m in Florida now. From Michigan. We are on Treasure Island and did go see manatees today! Going to work our way down to the keys. I would have been so excited to see you guys! It is chilly here!! Not as cold as home though! God bless you two!
Like number 851. Cody. You are so lucky. Kelly is such a good cook. Have you all been to Michigans upper peninsula?? It's my favourite place to go👍🏻💛🙏🏻
I spent January in Flordia and you are showing places I went and experienced. Recent memories! 🏆❤️ And your boat tour guide (captain) is the best! Saw my first manatee at the same Spring.
Falling waters is on our bucket list. If you’re in the Suwannee county area we can probably help with a place to camp. So if you get the urge, come camp amongst the pecan trees at Kizmet Farms
Oh wow I was at the same area 2 weeks ago. Black river, same issue at falling waters, Jackson Blue the forest is cool. I’ve done that too. I was in a Black Series HQ15
Welcome to Florida, we love y'all. Kellie, when you add garlic to the pan, try taking it off the heat so it doesn't brown too quick and get bitter, there is plenty of residual heat in that pan to gently cook it. Then pop it back on the heat and add the other stuff. 😉
Hi guys! glad you both are feeling better! Love Florida (NYer who heads to Florida now and then. Florida has so much to offer! That pizza looks amazing!!! I’m going to have to make that! Thanks guys have fun and stay safe!
I'm a little jealous... we were at Falling Waters back in October and the "fall" was barely a drizzle... glad y'all got to see a Manatee... chuckled at Cody & the squirrel... I recently had an armadillo that made me jump about like he did...😂
Oh yeah ice cream before your adventure for sure. Wow is that a beautiful waterfall, watching now from. Manchester Michigan Friday evening as always appreciate you sharing
Oh my gosh. Yall went to one of my favorite places in Fla. I usually go for my birthday every Feb 12 to see the manatees. I have also stayed at the lodge. I'm only an hour and a half from there. Dang I hate it I missed yall. Enjoy

I'm not positive that it's open again, but St. Joe's state park, not far from Apalachicola, is the land time forgot. It's a fabulous campground. The fish sandwich from tge Apalachicola grill is devine❤.My favorite camping, not on weekends, is Ginny Springs in High Springs Florida
Funny Cody mentioned the square pizza or the school Pizza. A friend was talking about School pizza yesterday and maybe it was because we were young, but we remembered them tasting so good. Cool State Park & springs y’all visited! You ought to go to Anastasia State Park & St Augustine while in Florida. The beach is awesome at the park & the old town of St Augustine is too 👍💕✌️
Thanks for the adventures. I lived in Florida and camped in Florida many years and I'm sad to say that the Florida National forests have lots of that kind of insanity hanging out in them. I've had to leave a few times unfortunately. Never had any of that anywhere else in the country. Did you check out the FL Caverns state park? The tour through the caverns is pretty cool too. Happy trails, I'm thinking of a truck camper setup myself.
Thanks for sharing. My son lives in Holiday n my dad lives New Port Richy yes some peeps can be rude n some will robe u blind watch your back down there . Stay safe . Safe Travels Always. God Bless Ya'll. Mucho Love from your friend in Michigan Tam ❤️ ♥️ 💕 💗 p.s. flatbread looked delicious but i dont shrimp lol but it looked delicious 😋
If you want to see manatees blue Springs Park in Orange city when it’s cold out, there’s literally hundreds so many you could walk across the whole spring on their backs.

Tallahassee native here. Sometimes we take for granted the wonders around us because we get so busy doing “life”. Thanks for the reminder.
I lived on Tallahassee for about 6 months...and have family there❤❤❤ I want to retire there one day

I got goosebumps when you got to see the manatee. I was snorkeling in Key Largo last winter and got to see one. A highlight of my life for sure.

The camp grounds are full because more people are living in campers out of necessity rather than for pleasure!
We noticed that, so sad

I bought a Byrna pistol. It shoots chemical pellet balls. Kinda like powerful bear spray and when it hits it explodes into a big powdery cloud. Deterring animals and/or stopping humans. I use it as a non-lethal protection. It is effective up to 60’. I bought it because we were at a campground and a prisoner escaped a police transfer vehicle near-by. The sheriff rolled thru the campground, I asked my uncle who was camping with us if he was packing. He wasn’t. So I did some research and bought the Byrna. It is legal to carry in all 50 states and I think Canada. Great video!
Just get a pistol permit.
Good tip. I always carry, but would much prefer a non-lethal option. I'm going to look into getting one of those.

Don't forget to go to Ginnie Springs before you leave Florida. St Augustine too. Jetty Park is cool in Cocoa. You can watch the cruise ships go by.
Welcome to Florida! ...Camp at Princess Place Preserve...you have to make a appointment tho.....
I think one of your best edited videos to date. Just subscribed to them all. Keep them comin’
Appreciate that
Thanks for the adventures.

I have been to the springs like six times and love it. I've also petted a manatee..😊 i❤Florida
They may have been drunk but I think what is more important to note is that you are in Florida.
Florida? not getting your meaning.
If you want to see many more manatees you need to go to Blue Spring state park. They spend the winter there
If you want to see manatees blue Springs Park in Orange city when it’s cold out, there’s literally hundreds so many you could walk across the whole spring on their backs.
