What were the nickel strips you used? Have the same problem withy green works batteries and I want to replace the cells rather than chuck the whole pack

Nickel strips came with the soldering machine. I think the cheapest ones in the world here in Thailand.

Hi, please how did you removed that top plastic from BMS? There is so much glue.. I cant get it out and all I need is to replace BMS (Ive fried it up when Ive tried to health check it). Hopefully I dont need to get rid of all the nickel strips and jsut resolder strips that are on bms already. Thank you

Use a heat gun to soften up the glue and rip apart, unless you forgot some screws?

@@PlantSugar the only screws I didn't unsrewed are the two on the side that holds cells together. And I've tried heat gun but the glue didn't looked melted or softened at all. Maybe I've just heated it too low since I dont want to overheat cells, so i will try a bit more, thanks.

Sometimes there are two tiny screws on the top. Mine were under some silicon gunk, could barely see them. I’m curious if there’s any easy way to remove the welds and redo without the welder?

@@Bellabaddi I think i didnt had screws there, a little bit more force ripped it apart (safely) finally.
You have to remove the welds so that is impossible, soldering cells is the only other way but its too dangerous and may\will harm cells
