Wow:- the ability to dril 90 degrees , whit the SDS attachment, is FENOMENAL!!

Love my bosch 12v and 18v tools. Really wish Bosch would let us in the US get all the same attachments and tools that the Euro market gets.

That is bizarre, I would have thought they'd send the same kits out everywhere (except the chargers obviously).

Great video. Well explained, tested & detailed. That SDS attachment is a doozy though. Packs a mean punch for 12V tool. Love my Bosch tools, coming from a user of Bosch for over 23 years. Much respect sir.

This is the old brushed version. There's an improved brushless version: GSR12V-300FCB22

I know, I bought this because it was at a really good price at a trade fair.... But I do still wish it had a belt clip 😆

Nice show. I didn’t know they made the sds+ for the 12v. If you have the opportunity, check out the brushless version 300fc. it has some improvements I think that rotary hammer would definitely appreciate. Thanks for the video! Merry Christmas and happy holidays from across the pond! “Presumably”lol

Annoyingly the 300fc is what I meant to purchase, it's brushless and has the belt clip (which I really miss from the model in the video).
The sds attachment is great, but always start with a small bit and low speed, there's no real speed control with it so it punches immediately unlike a dedicated SDS. It's a fantastic tool for small jobs, it's always on the top of my tool pile in the van 👍
Thanks for watching, and merry Christmas to you too. (From the other side of the pond 😉).

@@ChampionsOfTheTrade totally hear you on the belt clip. Though for me it does get a bit I guess I’d say concerning when I’m using in tight spots in finished carcasses, which is often when I’m using this tool. So there’s that on the side of no clip lol. I’ve otherwise only heard good things about the model you have there. Thanks for the advice on the sds attachment. So in the ideal scenario for finessing a trigger it doesn’t allow for it smh. Another nice situation you have is the nice L-box with insert tray. Over here, the little soft case they give us is abysmal. All of my “nitpicks” aside, I gotta say the tool paid for itself day 1 for me. Thanks again!

1st time watching your video and it was nicely done. I'm actually waiting for mine to be delivered today with the extra SDS. It's the 300fc. I really hope it would help me out in my house. Anyway like the way you explained without much brambling on what you don't like. All the best and cheers from Singapore...

This looks really cool... Would you recommend buying the SDS attachment to make the tool more useful?

    • @ChampionsOfTheTrade

It is a great tool, and yes I would if your job requires drilling into walls 👍

@@ChampionsOfTheTrade Yes, for now, but i prefer Bosch make a dedicated 12V SDS Rotary Hammer Drill instead. Long overdue

@@ChampionsOfTheTrade it has the festool style handle, the fwd/reverse switch is on top, and one of the chuck uses a magnet to hold the bit. All does the same thing I guess, but Bosch normal drill handle makes it more portable.

Mine was manufactured in Malaysia (according to the blue box), but they have manufacturing plants all over the globe.

Wish we got that nice storage box in the US instead of the useless zippered bag. But till that day - use a ChukRak to be sure you don't misplace or lose your chucks.

@@ChampionsOfTheTrade Thanks for looking - ChukRak is ideal when you carry your drill in a tote with other tools, or just keeping track of them in the shop or on the bench.

The 15fc have no kickback control 🤔. Its more likely that the engine shut off because of overheating 😅

    • @ChampionsOfTheTrade
      @ChampionsOfTheTrade  2 місяці тому

Quite possibly, its only a little machine with limited power.
