ABOUT THE HYMN
While performing at a fall social for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Cardall was approached by Elder David A. Bednar to write a song he had inside him with a specific phrase that kept going through Bednar's mind. The song has mention to multiple instances in Scripture, where Jesus encountered people, individually and collectively, administering to each person, one by one.
ABOUT THE WRITERS:
Paul Cardall (born April 24, 1973) is a Dove Award-winning pianist, recording artist, and producer at All Heart Publishing. In 1999, Cardall founded Stone Angel Music, which became the headquarters for his budding empire. Without any formal training, Steinway & Sons recognizes Cardall as one of America's finest pianists. Out of his 23 albums released, Cardall has had 11 #1 albums on the Billboard charts, four of which debuted in the top spot, and 21 Top 10 albums, on a variety of charts from New Age to classical. He has legions of fans around the globe, and has amassed 3+ billion streams. In 2018, Cardall’s holiday album, Christmas, was awarded the Gospel Music Association’s prestigious Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year. Cardall has collaborated with CeCe Winans, Ty Herndon, Neon Trees' Tyler Glenn, David Archuleta, LDS Apostle David A. David Allan Bednar (born June 15, 1952) is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). An educator by profession, Eder Bednar was president of Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYU-Idaho) from 1997 to 2004. Bednar was sustained as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve on October 2, 2004, the youngest man named to that body since Dallin H. Oaks in 1984. He was ordained an apostle on October 7, 2004, by church president Gordon B. Hinckley. Bednar and Dieter F. Uchtdorf were called to fill the vacancies created by the July 2004 deaths of quorum members David B. Haight and Neal A. Maxwell. As a member of the Quorum of the Twelve, Bednar is accepted by the church as a prophet, seer, and revelator. He is currently the seventh most senior apostle in the church.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
Performed by The American Heritage Lyceum Philharmonic, an audition-only ensemble for advanced high-school-aged musicians. Students perform masterworks of the repertory alongside sacred music. Conducted by founder Kayson Brown, a passionate music educator whose primary goal is to inspire audiences and the musicians he directs. Featuring Nathan Pacheco, a classically trained tenor who has been featured globally in live performances, including touring the United States, Canada, and Mexico with Yanni; performing with Latin singing sensation Olga Tañon; touring England, Scotland, and Wales with Katherine Jenkins and the National Symphony Orchestra; performing for Prince Charles in conjunction with the British Forces Foundation and the USO; and performing with orchestras and symphonies around the US.

I remember when I saw you in concert and saw this this is one of my favorite songs to this day. God bless you and all the great work you’ve done. I remember what a blessing it was to be part of the choir that sang this for the first time in concert. Elder Bednar was even there. I still hold the experience close to my heart.

When I went my mission, I found this song during my P-Day while trying to find uplifting music to put on my USB. When I first listened to this song, I was filled with the spirit and knew I could use this song to learn more about Christ's ministry in the Americas! I love this song and will share this with people when I get the opportunity! I served in the Honduras Comayaguela Mission from 2017-2019.

I'm glad you are searching Nico and you took the time to write me. Music is so powerful and can reach us in ways words are incapable of.
I know that God exists everywhere that is beautiful and good. Nature, the creatures and in all good things and with all good people. The two places that I feel heaven the most are in a hospital nursery and in the song of a bird in the really early hours of the morning. And babies and birds’ songs can touch me any time of day!! All creatures can do that for me!! Older humans do so once in a while for me, like those who teach me things of the spirit.
Also music, such as this….music and nature….including the creatures. This song is very beautiful. In one of our local meetings, I think it was, they told us to turn to music and nature as two of the ways to help ourselves. I need lots of prayers right now, but hopefully by listening to this song and others, I can find solace to my weary and worn heart….and it is pretty worn….more like war torn.
@@cardall I find the words that God gave us in his scriptures to convey to me the music of the gospel too. The words of this song, along with the music, convey those truths to me as well. If any man’s speaking a few words raises a question in my mind….I go to the scriptures to get it clarified. Men have opinions, and they can get in the way at times….at least to me, but maybe I am extra sensitive. This life is hard for people like me, who are extra sensitive. Oh well, we are here to teach one another. But my family is S-L-O-W to learn!! I pray for us all, because it hurts at times. Not everyone is nice all of the time, and that not only stinks, but it puts one on a roller coaster ride. I only pray that I am treated as well as I know that I am as a person and child of God.

I hope you can reassure me that you haven't, but please be honest and explain why you would leave the church with the full blessings of the gospel for another religion that does not. I know you shouldn't have to explain things to a stranger but I'm just concerned, especially if you have a family that you've been sealed to.

Hi Paul I remember this concert when you and the other man were there singing wow that's been quite a long time ago and your performance was awesome. Will you say some prayers that I get into this domestic violence program and if you could put me on a prayer list in November because if not come December I will be homeless my covid rent relief has been paying for my apartment that my abuser left me with a new I didn't have the money to pay is there anyway you can put me on a prayer list cuz otherwise December my rent relief from the government stops and I will be homeless with an emotional support animal. I hope you're well and I hope things are well with you and your family take care my friend Cathy

@@cardall hey Paul, will you say some prayers? It's Kathy. I found out where I was supposed to go caught on fire and my church can't help me and the LDS church won't help me. They told me in my ward that since I'm not LDS they weren't going to help me. I'm going to be homeless with an emotional support cat and I am consumed with anxiety and depression because there's no section 8 and there's nowhere to help me. I can't get into the program until March now because of the fire and my siblings and my parents won't help me so I'm just finding this out the day before yesterday. Thanks Paul. You're awesome.
