It was an honor to join acclaimed singer Dallyn Vail Bayles & the talented youth of the American Heritage Lyceum Philharmonic to perform this special arrangement of Savior Redeemer of My Soul. It is music that moves and inspires us, and we hope it will do the same for you. It is an Easter message intended to remind us all of the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the reality of His Resurrection. He Lives!
This music comes from Rob Gardner's Joseph Smith The Prophet oratorio. Rob wrote his own melody to go with the deeply moving text written by Mormon Apostle Orson F. Whitney. This special arrangement ft. Jenny Oaks Baker was originally written for Dallyn's Prayer album and has been updated to include the full performance forces of the Lyceum Philharmonic for the purposes of this video.

I need you more than ever Lord. I don't know if anyone will every read this but I am in a midst of a lot of struggle. I am physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually tired. But I am always amazed that I can go through it everyday. I know there is someone, someone I may not have seen yet but have felt ever since the Love He has for me. I am forever grateful. I am so incompetent as to everything in life, but I know with His help I can survive.
He is with you, and He loves you. You are never alone and He knows so perfectly your struggles. He will succor and uplift you. Saying a prayer for you - this world needs your light.

God lives and loves us and has a plan for our redemption and eventual triumph over our sins and all that opposes God's victory in us. I’ve been there my friend. Same feeling with this healing song. I think I replied it hundreds of times. True is, time helps out. It really does. Your storm will pass. I thought I had no life after what I was going through. The only thing sure you could do is to hold on to the only constant, and true love. The one person who will never abandon you. The Lord. Heal, and leave the past where It belongs
I have been going through a 7 year cancer journey, with a rare type of soft tissue sarcoma. Once in awhile, I'll have a crying spell, usually brought on by occasional severe pain. This beautiful hymn is my first "go-to hymn" which helps me feel SO MUCH better. Miraculously, this song will help me get through those emotional outbursts at bedtime, and before I know it, I'm feeling better and am able to go to sleep. THANK YOU for this beautiful song/hymn and video. It has certainly become part of my cancer treatment. It just brings so much peace to my heart.

I have depression, and I was laying in my bed being depressed...lol and I was thinking really negative/harmful thoughts, when all of a sudden the spirit started to play this song to me, and I felt the depression cease, and I felt like I was glowing. Beautiful song, thanks!

I created a playlist on UA-cam I named Best Music, and this is the type of song I put in it. I know what depression is, and I know you suffer from it. I also know that sometimes you can't just put music on to get over an episode, and sometimes, you don't actually want to because being depressed is comfortable, and makes you feel "normal" right then. But still, my Best Music is as close to me as my phone. Yours can be too, and if you are like me, your phone is always with you. Have it remind you to play music from your Best Music playlist from your phone during the most common times you just want to lay on your bed and disappear. I think if you are like me, it will help you cope. But I also understand that it's not easy. Even when I'm reminded, I sometimes just don't have the energy to pick up my phone and play anything. How could this not be about God? How can you not feel the Spirit touch your soul? He lives. He is real. He loves us.
I m LDS from Costa Rica and have my personal conviction o the gospel. Life conditions sometimes let you touch you deeply but you re right, the Spirit has already touched my soul. I feel now much better, in fact I made my own píano compositions out of it

I find music bypasses so much and goes right to my heart, where I live and dwell and unlocks me, frees me up. So often it says what I can't form words for. I find I have my faith in God due to Him being with me through very hard times, however my faith in my fellow imperfect members has taken some dings for sure. Music certainly helps me reach beyond those trials and hurts and reminds me of the grand panorama and the God who reaches over all and cares for each of us so deeply. :) May God be with you always. He loves you.

Hi Chelsea, I hope your fight for your faith is going well. You know, I think everyone has to go through periods where they fight for their faith, a trial of their faith, to actually grow. Whether our faith is damaged by things we do, things other people do to us, or things we just don't understand, we must all confront, at least once, that dark valley of pain and turmoil where we simply have to put one foot in front of another in faith that He can overcome all things and that He is working on our behalf. And it's hard with the veil over our eyes that is always it's most dark and obscure during these times.
I can promise you this: Heavenly Father has a huge blessing waiting for you on the other side of this and every trial you have in life. I have begun to recognize that I can defeat temptation and sorrow by simply recognizing this and keeping my eyes on the horizon...on Him. Despite all my crazy errors and failures in life, He is always there to help me pick myself and get back on the path...the Covenant Path.
"Be still and know that I AM GOD."
You can do this. Ignore everyone else and just seek Him. I know you can.

I'm not exaggeting when I say I've listened to this probably 30 times over the past 24 hours. It has healed my soul. There is a power and beauty in it that is truly moving to me. That’s so true, we are all children of god. He’s our farther in heaven who loves and cares for each one of us. It’s impossible to feel how the savior felt when put on the cross to perish and die for our sins. The lord is our companion, father, friend, Shepard, and redeemer.

Listening to the songs made me feel peace despite this pandemic rasing all hope from the children of Our Heavenly Father. This morning I could see His love through the atonement of His holy begotten Son, Jesus Christ. I know we can find peace and joy if we follow Him everywhere he wants us to go, we do whatever he wants to do. He is risen and He lives.
What a precious gift of love, the Savior is the true king! The deliverer. I look forward to the day when he will come to deliver that his people from suffering, persecution, and the adversary.#LDS

This Hymn was part of a Mini - Tender Mercy Miracle! Short Story:
I had prayed before Scripture Study, asking simply that I would know that my Kind, & Holy Father was Close by me. I was feeling weak & heartsick, for trials severe.
I then worshipped with 2 Hymns, before scripture study! After my first worship hymn, I like to spend some time in visualization, where I reflect answers to my concerns for myself, family & the world.
But, the first thing that came into my view, was a past time where I had prayed for days, thanking God, for the “Birds’ Songs of Joy,” & how, on the 5th day, after such a prayer, a Bird appeared on my front porch, chirping & my little Dog, Mikey, alerted me. This prior event was a miracle, as the bird left, & returned 3 times, & was so loud on my porch that I opened my solid door & visited with this Bird & even told my plumber of this Bird event, BEFORE the Bird’s 3rd Return! ‘Carl, is a witness, & his comment was, “Amazing!”
After my visualization - I like to flip & flip my mini-hymnal around & around & w/ closed eyes & I opened to this hymn that my Holy Father desired for me: Hymn 112 -“Savior, Redeemer of My Soul.” I do this protocol all of the time, & I have answers to my Prayers, & Miracles, regularly. Then, for the first time in quite awhile, I decided to pull-up a UA-cam & I inadvertently, chose this beautiful rendition.
BEAUTIFUL! Thank You, ALL! 🙏🏻
The Birds chirping in the Beginning of this hymn, was my Holy Father’s orchestration of this whole event, to let me know that “HE was close by me, in direct answer to my prayer!” As with my Original Birds’ Chirping 5-Days of Prayers of Gratitude & witness of the Holy Spirit, that my Holy Father heard my prayers; with that Little Bird coming to my closed, SOLID Door, this rendition, of, “Savior, Redeemer of My Soul,” I testify, was ALSO “orchestrated by God’s Holy Spirit,” in answer to my Prayer.
With my Visualization of my Prior Tender Mercy Miracle, & then immediately, a confirmation, as the Holy Spirit had me open my mini-hymnal inadvertently to hymn 112, & having had the Holy Spirit inspire me to choose this very UA-cam rendition, “With the Birds Chirping” right in the Beginning... WAS my Holy Father’s Direct Answer to my Specific Prayer! Tears welled up, & pure Joy filled my Soul! I couldn’t deny the beautiful Chirps of my Kind, & Holy Father’s witness unto me, of His Presence with me, at that very moment! This was not a Coincidence... GOD, is Real! My Kind, & Holy Father, indeed, heard, & answered my prayer!”
God, our Holy Father hears ALL of His Children’s’ Prayers of Faith! Whoever is reading this... God Bless You! Your Kind, & Holy Father, can & does turn our hardships to “His Good & Our Blessing ... “IF,” we will Turn To Him in Faith & Sincere Prayer! With small efforts, are GREAT things accomplished for the welfare of mankind. Look for the little signs. Give thanks for all of your Gifts, as “All gifts are from God,” even the Breath that we Breath! When it gets the darkest, that is because you are on the Right Track, & you are on the verge of something Great!!! The adversary, somehow, can sense our coming Victory! Let the trials, be a Sign of your Greatness! God, will not feed you a stone, when you ask for bread; nor, a serpent, when you ask for a fish. He would never forsake His Child. Have Faith! Pray! Believe that GOD has YOUR MIRACLES all wrapped & waiting, in Heaven just for your prayer to be uttered, in Faith! For He knows your need, before you can conceive of your prayer, even from the foundation of the earth. Your God Reigneth!”

Thank you, Janiece. I hope you won’t mind if I save your testimony, it gives me great reminder. I am going through an extremely hard, long-term trial that seems to have no answers in this life, but I know that Heavenly Father knows what He is doing in providing me with these adversities and I am thankful for His promises.

I thank Thee Father in Heaven for Thy eternal plan, that Thou hast given to redeem fallen man. May my faith on Thy Son Thine only begotten, increase in my heart that He never be forgotten. That through my obedience may I learn how unto Thy Holy presence to return.
It is really wonderful that we get to recognize the hands of God amidst our struggles, because it means we won't be led astray while striving to get by, let's just keep holding on like listening to inspiring music, because accordingly," there's always LIGHT at the end of the tunnel, a RAINBOW at the end of the storm"...we are all precious, because we are children of our loving Father in Heaven and He sent our beloved Savior Jesus Christ to help us carry our crosses here in mortality.....

We had someone sing this yesterday in my Ward. Someone played the piano and someone played the violin. It was so beautiful. I felt the spirit so strongly, I had tears streaming down checks.

Now I understand people who've gone through narcissists. I see their children being victims as well, and as a teacher, it is heartbreaking to see generations contaminated with such traumatic abuse. I hope people heal themselves and the future they make for others.

Christ is the only way to true, lasting peace in this world. Believe me ... I have tried in my stubborn ways to find peace and happiness other ways...worldly ways, but that path always led me to my knees crying bitter tears of sorrow...begging for mercy.
The Lord always gave mercy and love.
