Clearly it’s not about which gauge is best, it’s about who shot best on the day. Both perfectly capable of smoking those targets, but look at how much fun you both had. Now that’s priceless. Great to watch, enjoyed that. Thank you.👍
I had a Miroku 28 bore which I shot with 19g loads, hit clays at 50 yards plus with no problem. However, my average on decoy corvids and pigeon dropped from an average of 70% with my 12 bore to just over 50% with the 28 bore, plus ammo cost more, so sold the 28 bore.
Fantastic gun the 28 gauge, have shot one for the last 15 years and will bring high pheasants down no problem as long as you use a descent cartridge, eley vip and hull High Pheasant are good using fibre wads and 3/4 and full chokes.
Great video could you tell us more about 410 and the 28 what’s the difference and what they are best for. And how much does it cost for your days shooting. As I want to apply for my license but I need a light gun and gun for beginner with thanks. Johnathan
Better off going for a 12 gauge and using a lighter load, 21 or 24g. I've a Beretta 694 as my first gun in 30 inch barrel and I get on with it fine. A 686 Silver Pigeon will do you well.

It would be interesting to see you do a pattern test with the 28, like you did recently with the 410.
Brilliant video mate. Really nice to see the small bores being shot well. I loved my 28 bore excellent little gun

I was there Saturday, it was beautiful, first dry day for ages.
I'm still toying on the idea of a 410 , but the 28g seams like a good option to?
Great content as as ever.
Another good vid 👍
Looks like a need to up my game for our trip out 😂😂😂
Great and fun video!!! What’s the barrel length of the .410, 28” or 30”???????????L

You would more than likely be better looking at a Game twenty bore or 12g semi auto
