Thanks for all of these reviews and your ability to reach out into all arenas recreational vehicle world is quite exposure and education for the public.
I love this Grand Design fifth wheel. Don’t I have that much to dislike. Just the counter space by the stove but it’s not a big deal. And tv counsel be a bit bigger. Other than that it’s great. I know Nathan and Marissa. I have been watching them and you Matt the sane length of time. Almost 2 years now. And I love it. I love the tall ceiling in the bunk room. Nice it has storage in it. My loves are the bath room and bedroom closet. Thank you Matt and Wil. And Sonny of Nirth Carolina. Matt thank you for having me know you for 1 year and 1/2.
I agree on the tv and the living room.. also I wish the office/bunk had a bigger desk and maybe an option with no bunk and couch. third dislike is room around the bed in the master bedroom. LOVE the kitchen, vacuum system, and folding steps.
Like the trailer overall.. nice cabinets/colors. Awnings are a big plus. Completely agree about the televator- should be larger and less cramped so folks not in the theatre seats get a view- that pantry could go like Will mentioned and make that space less crowded. Like the bath and the bedroom. The bunk/ office is nice as well. Really appreciate all the windows! Makes for a nice lighter space. Agree again about the location/access to the black tanks, etc. It always seems to be under a slide out or some place awkward to get to. At this price point they should be able to come up with a new/better solution/location- getting old is not for wimps ;). Nice review, nice trailer ;) thanks ya all ;)
The electric fireplaces if they are a good manufacture are wonderful. They really do provide heat that warms up out 34' Class A no issues. Plus on a cool rainy evening it's great to relax and recline in the theater seats, a glass of fine wine and a good movie with the glow of the fireplace, life is good. Grand Design makes a really great well quality 5th wheel. The Grand Design is the unit we recommended to our friends that were looking fo a 5th wheel.
Ok I'm finally going to ask. I've been watching your channel for at least 2 years now and I don't remember seeing it mentioned, but what's with the jump at the beginning of your videos? Were you a cheerleader before? Just curious. Love the videos by the way.
LOL Thanks so much! When we started this Jen (Wils wife) came up with the phrase were starting in 3...2...1 I said "What do I do after 1?" She said IDK Jump in the air like a fat kid LOL now here we are
@@MattsRVReviewsTowables haha that’s awesome Matt! I honestly thought maybe your cheered in college or something. I actually did the countdown with you one time while watching one of your videos and I did the fat kid jump. My kids just looked at me with a blank stare. Haha. Keep the videos coming. I hope to purchase a 5er from you guys in the future.
Your correct Will Matt failed to cover the tires -correctly. He refuses to mention the most important factor the tire grade. This unit probably needs F or G rated tires and I am guessing they are never what they ought to be because of mfg shaving costs or availability for safe towing so he avoids it.
Think its now time to start mentioning the quality of the tv/s. HD or 4HD, smart, brand. I always wNt to know if there is a way to cook a chicken or small Turkey. I hate it when you make a big deal out of the drawer under the oven that looks like part of the oven. Would rather have no drawer and some room in the oven to cook something other than small pizzas and cookies.
Need built in dvd players and Bluetooth etc in entertainment center. Need both the old and the new. Data is so expensive and reception so poor in most camping parks that you have to go back to dvds and even vhs for something to watch when weather is poor or dark or cold or windy or raining or too hot! Parks still have huge dvd/vhs piles available to campers often free.
I’d give up the “Taco Bar” and use it as the pantry and delete the current pantry to get more counter space on either side of the stove - it’s MISERABLE not to have workspace on both sides of a cooktop - with such a big rig wish they could figure out how to get some drawers in the bathroom
I have 2 dislikes. 1. I don't like the way so many RVs have the sofa on the end and recliners or theater seats on the opposite side from the tv. I wouldn't want to be the ones sitting on the sofa and the angle you would be trying to watch the tv. 2.I saw another comment about the "end tables" by the bed being good for injuring your head when you turn over. I like the kitchen, the bunk room , the bathroom and the bedroom.
Wil please pay attention, when Matt is talking about say the slide floor transition, while I’m sure your looking down at it, we Aren’t! We are not here to see Matt, (😉 Matt no offence), we are here to see the trailer. Matt you should be catching this when your talking too. Not trying to be mean, just pointing out something that keeps happening, wish u all the best. Cheers 🍻
Don't like the seam that runs around the outside about a foot and one-half from the bottom. It seems to be a place for high maintenance/ water intrusion. Don't like the tiny tv. Don't like that there aren't any real nightstands in the bedroom. Combo those with the color scheme which I did not like either. Liked the kitchen except the non-existent counter on either side of the stove. Liked the bunk room. Liked the bathroom. Combo with the exterior paint.
How about doing some XLR Nitros toy haulers and help us get them to offer the old style nice wood kitchen and bedroom cabinets instead of the ugly get dirty easy crappy looking white and their ugly new for 2022 shower that was fantastic 2021.
A pantry especially should not have glass doors. I saw the wire which might save a jar of spaghetti sauce from bouncing through the glass and keep the mess smaller but just get rid of glass. Mirrors should be enough glass for anyone. Plastic cabinets look like crap.
It’s nice they are starting to consider office spaces. Would like to see toy haulers with fold down or up tables and shelves and keep the top bed for storage bins of ebay Inventory. Lots of computer connections to built in cell boosters wi-fi boosters power and flush lighting. Built in 20-24 ‘ extendable antenna/flag pole would be nice.
Anyone who is happy with an rv with non-upgraded suspension/tires/pin box has never driven through Michigan Arkansa Or Oklahoma where there are so many bumps ruts potholes debris etc.
Love the REAL OVEN!!
Thank you for helping get rid of carpet in trailer slides.
Great layout to this 5th wheel. Great storage underneath. Not much to dislike about this.
Love Love the non white cabinets in the kitchen. (Except for the glass in the cabinets).
Thanks for all of these reviews and your ability to reach out into all arenas recreational vehicle world is quite exposure and education for the public.
Love Nate and Marissa!
Not enough counter around stove all the rest is great.

Thanks for this review! We love it and are choosing this for our new home!

LOVE the kitchen, vacuum system, and folding steps.
I love your channel & the honest reviews! I also follow Less Junk, More Journey and love them too!!!
Really nice. Have to agree about the living room
Need more counter space on either side of the stove for cooking.
The “end tables” next to the master bed will injure your head when you turn over.

Love the bathroom, the huge windows and the full height bunk room
What a great camper. Just love it
No loft! Yea! Tall mid bunk slide! Yea!
If it had a sink in the outdoor kitchen, it would be perfect. So many 5ers are missing that.
It has the spray port to the left of the outdoor kitchen instead, so I could live without a sink.
Great unit. Thanks for the entertainment!
Love the kitchen, but the stove area was super cramped with no real counter space on either side.
I follow Less Junk, More Journey and this is the RV I want to upgrade to but want the loft.
Where are the electrical outlets in the kitchen for appliances?
Finally see a fifth wheel I love tip to tip
I always wonder if you could still lift the bed up and access storage if there was a real mattress on top?
Nice stove backsplash. Too bad grease also flies to the side when cooing where there is no backsplash and about enough room to place a spoon.
Hey Matt and Will, how about a review of some Open Range fifth wheels. Just a thought.
I would love to hear y’all point out the cabinet for liquor on your channel. It deserves its own emoji mush like the shower and toilet!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bedroom was nice looking but not larger cpap friendly. Inverted plugs/receptacles for cpap when traveling/Boondocking?
Sweet!👍🏼
Matt if they have a 2022 Solitude 310GK can you review that? Been a minute, like to see updates! Thanks and love the videos!

Funny, y'all are talking about the small TV and I'm watching this on my cellphone. Size is relative.

I watch #lessjunkmorejourney
Matt is the only entertaining with personality RV reviewer.
Can you do a GD 2930 Solitude
Why did you stop going up the ladder on the roof? I'm disappointed there is no outlets in the kitchen side counter for my coffee maker.
Grand Design is the best! It doesn't matter what model or floorplan - nobody beats GD!
wait! are you saying the body sprayers in the shower don't have a dedicated shut off ? that would be a pretty big design flaw.

LIKE THE KITCHEN THE LIVING THE BUNK HOUSE NO DISLIKE MATT AND WILL THAT IS A QUEEN SIZE BED IT SAID ON THE LAYOUT
Either you are showing this unit with an option bunk/office configuration or the video is labeled incorrectly as a Jayco Eagle Ht ....
OK, understand fatboy knot but could also be arthritis knot. At 70 years old, knees don't bend too well. Love this Solitude 5th wheel

Dislikes, no slam latches in front, no generator, tv size
Likes, shower size, kitchen island size, underbelly storage size
Oh one more dislike… MSRP… lol, your are getting into vanleigh, redwood, pricing, and I expect vanleigh, redwood quality.

Love the trash can in the pantry.
Who wants to show visitors what is in their cabinets? Why do they put glass fronts on them. Why not all wood fronts?
Not a fan of light-colored furniture, and NO counter space beside the stove.

Nice shower
Thank you for commenting on the size of the tv.
