Molto interessante. Grazie tante per questa intervista. Ho studiato con Al tanto tempo fa e un piacere di sentirlo parlare di nuovo delle sue esperienze e delle sue parere vocale. Rock on🤟
Thank you Guys. I cannot agree more.
Omg. Can you imagine how this voice bounces off that ceiling and walls? It must be phenomenal to be in that room when he sings.
It’s pretty incredible being in the room . I have been in the room with many great singers and the first time I heard Alex I was blown away and weirded out by the way the voice hit me
What a great guy! Great Interview!! Loved it!
Alex is someone who I’ve been fortunate enough to study with....have learned so much as a result.
Thanks for doing these podcasts, Daniel. Great stuff. Cheers!
Your welcome i enjoy doing them as well
The sexual tension in this interview is so subtle...😂
Very interesting
Nice podcast! Greetings from Romania!
Greetings
Very educational and enjoyable, thanks guys, gunna check out Alex
This is a very good video.. I’m curious about the singing belt what is it?
I tried to google and all I got was articles and videos on belting.
Is the belt like those Velcro strap things,?
Singing, pee, and poo talk ;)
Great stuff!
I was this many days old when I learned about how to breath with your low diaphragm. Even more engaging the low back muscles. I have been doing it too high and having problems for years. And years.
Every once in a while I would do it right and be like, wow. Now I can do it right waaaay more often, and actually know what is happening.
Awesome video!
Can you please tell me what that book you were reading is called?
Maybe it was overtones of bel canto
Great interview!
What do you guys think of using flageolet to train the upper range?
Well traditionally that’s whistle voice but if you are coming from what some younger coaches are calling flageolet it’s fine
As everyone said, this's just fantastic Dan- many thanks man. Also, would totally watch a show where the two of ya'll just talked shit to each other for an hour. Pitch it to HBO!!
One thing I wonder about- Alex said his teacher never really talked about the cords, larynx, etc. But in that interview with jerome hines, Pavarotti talks explicitly about "getting the cords to bite", etc. What he says is quite similar to what that coach Jack Livigni talks about often, if you've ever come across him. Was that maybe from a different teacher, or did Alex maybe not need those adduction lessons, you think??
Awesome :-) I'm from Parma, Emilia Romagna :-) very cool to hear these experiences!!
Hope to work with you soon @danielformica-yourvocalteacher !!really curious!!
