Hey man! I'm a singer based in Rhodes- Greece. I have binged watched most of your videos the last few days. Extremely helpful stuff!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Dan's advice is pure gold. I spent over a decade(!) learning useless stuff (that was either plain wrong, or true yet useless). Complete waste of money and time. I was only after I started working with Dan that I started getting better. And still, it took me over a year to understand what Dan was trying to get into my head. But I am persevering, and I had to undo all the useless stuff I had learned in the past, but FINALLY I am making REAL progress. Listen to Dan.
It should sound the same it’s the same method. As you you know it’s not a guessing game it is a method a road map to rely on. Can’t wait to hear from ya
At 11:10: Man, you get these things out in every single lesson! It's just my brain that needs to get wrapped around them which takes time for ME....but your advice is so good. I could have kept on running years to other (local) teachers and not learned much. Thank you for teaching this, honestly. Every day I look forward to my next practice session.
Daniel, in the video, you're saying to leave the stomach as it was on the inhale, but you use the lower muscles below the belly button when you sing... Is that correct? So you sing from the lower gut? It's like a downwards push?
If you put your fingers about 3 inches below your belly button and cough you will feel a little kick. When you relax the abs and allow the inhale the lower belly will go out like when you are sleeping then you lean that muscle out with your sound don’t tighten or push but lean with your sound if it starts to come try and come in.
Came here from Keegan's channel after your chat together, so very glad I did. Great info!
Thanks glad you came over

I'm singing a bunch of R&B tunes in the original keys tonight. I couldn't have even dreamed of doing it without Daniel's help!
You're the best!!!

Geez sounds a lot like my lessons with you! LOL. Daniel is a great vocal coach and I'm amazed at the growth I experienced in just a few short lessons!

Hi Dan how do you strengthen the vowel register? Will singing in Ee/Oo vowels a lot help increase the strength in it?
Yes. Try and keep the pressure the same on the first few scales don’t increase.
