I have to retract my former statement !! can,t help myself but i LOVE, those mules, i would buy them in a heartbeat !!! BUT " that shore is a great team of grays !!!!!!
As it stands right now, on this 23rd day of November 2024, there are nine (9) animals in your barn that I would purchase without blinking my eyes twice! Some are mules, ... some are horses, ..... all would compliment the driving therapy program I hope to establish. Please, Heavenly Father, ..... allow my funding to come through! Plus, ... I will need to have some custom wagons/carts built to accommodate handicapped clients. Still waiting, ... still waiting, ... still waiting (sigh). I think God is trying to teach me, humility and patience! God Bless. - ACD
Good morning ACD. All the animals online are Sold already but I’ll be putting more teams up today and singles. Thanks for your support and God Bless you.
Great Question.. Drafts for their Physical Strength. Mules for their Prowess Love to have both someday Both will put me on a "first name" basis with my vet
We use to feed sheep with a team of horses an a team of mules . I always liked to use mules more.they were just a little more lively. We also used a tractor an wagon. The teams never got stuck an never ran over a sheep. I can not say that about the tractor.
It's fascinating to hear about your experiences with horses and mules! They definitely bring a unique energy to the task. It sounds like you had some great memories on the farm!
I'm a mule guy. If I decide to go to the pub I can have a drink and don't have to worry about a ticket from the local cop and I don't have to call a cab. My mule will take herself and I right back to the farm!!
I can't rightly say I'd turn down the opportunity to work with either team. I'm a draft horse guy, so I'd choose the dapples, but those Mollies are a fine team. Most folks don't know the work it takes to train a team to work in such proximity to machinery like that combine. Most horses would spook. You might catch them in the next county, on a good day. I had never seen tires like that on tractors before. Are they all steel? Or are they a rubber-steel combo? Great video, guys. A lot of work went into making it. Thank you for taking us along for the ride.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's fascinating how much training goes into getting those horses comfortable around such heavy machinery. As for the tires, they are indeed a rubber-steel combo for better traction and durability!
I think I’m a draft horse man myself! Although, I’ve never handled a team of mules so that statement may change if I ever get the opportunity to drive a team of mules. But as of now, I’m partial to the draft horse
Of these two teams, although i am a mule lover, i would take the draft horse team, they seem to be more relaxed around the combine, and the tractor and auger. J. M. H O.
I'm a draft mule guy but enjoy seeing both out working
Thank you for sharing your perspective! It’s great to connect with fellow enthusiasts who appreciate the hard work of these amazing animals.
It is reassuring that with something new that mules first instinct was to stand real still
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s always interesting to look at how animals react to new experiences.
IT'S NOT THERE FIRST TIME DOING IT 😊
One of the best videos you guys have done so far. Lots of work went into that.
Your kind words mean a lot to us! We poured our hearts into this video, and it’s wonderful to hear it resonated with you.
I like both, but still prefer a horse. Great teams and joy to watch
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s great to see other fans appreciating the teams and the joy they bring.

Great JOB HENRY! THEY ARE A FINE PAIR OF MARE'S, !
Thank you so much and God Bless you.
Don't be upset, but I can't choose a favorite!! Having grown up with Percherons & Perch mules, I know they're both great choices. 😊
It's hard to choose a favorite when both Percherons and Perch mules have such amazing qualities! Each has its own charm and strengths.
Nothing beats a good team of mares.
Thanks for your comment and watching our video. We really appreciate you.

Great Question..
Drafts for their Physical Strength.
Mules for their Prowess
Love to have both someday
Both will put me on a "first name" basis with my vet
That's a fantastic perspective! Both drafts and mules bring unique strengths to the table, and having both would be quite the advantage!

@@HasteDraftHorsesandMules Very cool with the tires. I don't think I'd take them on the road. But for field work, it's a great idea!
Thank ya so much

Mules. Id est quod id est (Latin for "It is what it is")
That's right! Mules are definitely a unique topic, and they embody the essence of "it is what it is."
Id est quod id es (latin for "It is what it is")
Absolutely! Sometimes, we just have to accept things as they are.
Mule will out pull a horse
Thank you for sharing that insight! Mules really do have a unique strength that deserves more recognition.
The Draft Mules.

The Draft Mules? Sounds like a new superhero team saving the day one draft at a time!
