Gotta love how Mike and Luke's mutual "no impulse control" approach to playing video games turns into this amazing ride-or-die frinedship for their characters. Egbert and Dob support each other through all their absolutely ludicrous ideas and I am 100% here for it ^_^
Quick remember for Egbert. Paladin have lay of hand (Heal someone for the HP you want, up to 5Xlevel of paladin, without using spell slots). Please use it before cure wounds.
I like how Luke, Jane, and Andy all have slightly different skulls on the table in front of them. Dob's skull is dirty and old-looking because Dob appreciates nice things but wouldn't deliberately kill someone just for a fireplace decoration. Corazon's skull is completely clean because he probably looted it off of a rich pirate (plus their gold) right before this adventure. And Prudence's skull is an unnatural size and perched on top of an ornate structure probably because she cast a horrific ritual to shrink someone's head down to that size and bind their still-conscious soul to it for a fancy paperweight.

Definitely one of the best: Johnny encourages role playing over dice rolling and min/maxing with his loose distribution of inspiration. A lot of DMs never get that concept and wonder why bigger and badder fights seem to be failing to keep the players' attention.
Definitely the most entertaining d and d themed story telling. (They are actually pretty terrible at the rules of d and d though- proficiency, damage bonus str or Dex, spell slots...)
I bloody love Ice Mephit's as monsters. Threw them at my party last adventure and the explosions caught them totally off guard. Queue mass panic of ranged attacks, except for the mad dwarf barbarian who loved it
Five Years from now: Johnny is 60 Skeletons, a flaming skull, the old crone/serf Bistmith, a toddler archeologist, two canine grimoires, a pack of dire wolves, a genie, a stable hand who can only say one word, a singing sword, and a mime named Fred who is terrible at being a mime.
The dice rolling in this episode was amazing. I particularly like how badly they managed to handle the pit trap they knew was there and could have easily not been damaged by.
Happy New year you guys! Can't wait to see how this Oxventure turns out. I have a feeling that it's starting off as a Merilwen story but will slowly turn into a Prudence scenario.
It's nice to actually be catching these as they come out. I binged the entire story so far about a month ago. I have a character concept that I have been carrying for quite some time now, but haven't gotten the chance to play. One of the things I like to do is imagine how he would react during the sessions. It's easy because I think the character is the right mix of serious background and ridiculous nature to fit snugly in with this group. Thanks for all the fun, guys, and enabling my vicarious roleplay.
haven't watched the end yet, but i must say well done on the production value! The music and extra graphics really add to the story! I know you've used these tactics in previous videos but this one is very well done. I hope you find the time to keep making these kind of versions! I love the live ones of course, but these iterations have me fully engrosed! It's like watching a movie! Again, well done!
seeing that ice mephit was the fastest I have picked up and flipped through my Monster Manual to figure out what that thing is. I have never heard of mephits before. Leave it up to Johnny to introduce me to a monster I've never seen or heard of before.

haven't watched the end yet, but i must say well done on the production value! The music and extra graphics really add to the story! I know you've used these tactics in previous videos but this one is very well done. I hope you find the time to keep making these kind of versions! I love the live ones of course, but these iterations have me fully engrosed! It's like watching a movie! Again, well done!
