Rollie pollies don't eat plants. They eat organic matter is the soil however if you want them gone try Diatomaceous earth.
We have a wonderful, very hot but very small pepper called Chiltipin here in southern Arizona. If you'd like to try them hmu I'll send you some seeds.
Good vid. Love from Arizona.
Well turns out they do, came home last night to see a few chewing away at some of the leaves and the flowers of the little capsicum unfortunately. Yeah heard of using it, does it work well for outdoors though? Cheers Dan
@@JacobsBackyardGardening When it dries out it'll work, the moisture lubricates the glass and isn't effective then. DE is microscopic glass and essentially cuts the insect bodies up. Also works on gnats and fruit flies or any insect larvae in the soil...If you buy food grade DE you can consume it also. Its great for gut health.
Sorry bout your pill bugs (Rollie pollies) that's literally the first time I've heard of them feasting on plants. Live and learn I guess.
Ah ok awesome, thanks for the info. Might need to give it a try.
Yeah unfortunately they do, very true. Cheers Dan & have a good one!
What's funny is I'm in the northern hemisphere and so our south facing plants get all day sun. North facing plants not so much.
you are so cute
