This is definitely my favorite title track of theirs since Savage. AND WINTER??!! The looks, the vocals, the visuals, the presence was giving everything and more! When you see their music show stages for Drama, you can really tell they’re feeling it and enjoying the stage a lot more. Gigi’s dancing has improved and they’ve become a bit more synchronized.
Hard to decide who slayed the hardest in Drama they're all incredible

like the song had me confused a bit but then THEIR ENERGY AND VOCALS made me love it sm! also the improvement in their choreo??? management doing their job well for once !

I completely agree that this is Aespa’s best TT. One of the few good things that have come out of this post-LSM era. I think his vision for them was holding them back.
I don’t love chanty chorus’s that are too repetitive I wish they had changed up the post-chorus. The chorus grows on me more in the context of live performances. NingNing and Winter’s presence/vocals and the overall styling gave me everything.
Yess I think the AI vibe was limiting them for sure. This is a great progression

This is the aespa that I love - strong vocals and energy. MV elevated what was already a fun song. Karina and Giselle are underrated vocalists!
I love their improvement from debut era to now, drama era. And I love how they become more confident when appear or perform in front of cameras and people.
What you said about it being Karina and friends at first makes so much sense woah. Because now you can count on all of them slaying in their own ways.

Not too much of a fan of the opening verse with all the onomatopoeia but love the bridge and the chorus has been stuck in my head since release. I find myself singing dramamama randomly. They said that this was actually supposed to be released instead of spicy, but they released spicy instead. I feel like some songs on my world would go better with this album and vice versa. This is their best performing title track so far as well as it’s in the top 100 on global Spotify and Apple Music rn.
the original lyrics of this according to LSM request was horrible (it's about planting tree in response to global warming). the girls was said to be crying after they knew the lyrics, and honestly, I would be crying too if I was them. thank God, they changed it and release Drama with this lyrics.

I 100% agree that this is their best title track yet. Idk if this is an opinion most fans share, but will I did like their other titles, it always felt like they were being held back. But this song… drama. I think it shows off a side of them we haven’t gotten to see before. Outside of Drama, I think Hot Air Balloon is my favorite track.
But that aside, I think SM has done incredibly well considering they’ve flipped their entire production system on its head this year. If 3.0 is showing us all of this now… just a short while after implementing it, what are they gonna give us next year?
agreed. this is just the 6th months or even less after 3.0 fully implemented (they just started to fully implemented 3.0 around may if not later) and they gave us all of their current releases. I can say that it's definitely an improvements. changing a system that's been used for more than 3 decades isn't easy and definitely will take some time.
I liked "Spicy" more than "Drama" but I liked this more than "Girls." It definately has grown on me, especially watching the music stages. My favorite b-sides from the album are "Hot Air Balloon" and "You" because they kinda sound RV coded.

The video... babes... they never looked better, the gag was real. I am also not inlove with the song, taste wise, but I do still appreciate it, I think it’s good, the production is great. It’s the same as Savage, I can recognize the quality but it’s just not 100% for me. I like Spicy more, that song grew on me like crazy over the summer. But anyways, this was a SLAY for sureeee!

This is by far my favorite title track of theirs. Next level, purely for the jazzy breakdown in the middle of the song (because it’s THAT good) and then Savage.
I'm so happy to see them completely own the characters - sometimes I'm left wanting a bit more but here they embodied the whole theme 🙌
(also yes, @the rest of kpop - a bridge(of some sort) in a song should be essential, please give us lengthy songs back, tnx)

i was so excited for this cb based off the solo teasers. the mv n song did what they had to do. absolutely love the dark concept along w/ the physical albums, but one thing that really disappointed me was the fact that sm made the decision to throw in the unreleased singles they performed during their world tour, regardless of the sound n concept, to be the bsides of this mini. it completely breaks the immersion of the tone drama gives. theyre not bad songs, i love better things n hot air balloon but sm... they piss me off lmao. anyway glad you appreciated drama!
First time i listen to it didn't vibe felt a bit jarring idk but after a while i watched a few reactions and listening to it without the video instead i enjoyed it more honestly great sing along car song for me. Similar feelings from chorus it felt a bit flat but i enjoyed the bits in between and the beats which always get me if they have great sound to the music. Think the music and bits inbetween carried it for me. It reminded me a lot of Megaverse stray kids in how i felt about it same reaction initially to hearing it love the beats and verses however the chorus felt mid/flat however will still sing along when it comes on and in my playlist. Kinda like those songs that just need to grow on u thats the vibe it feels but i think it was very well put together drama and loved the styling of it as well. :)
Okay. I might ruffle feathers, but Drama by Aesop is so much more satisfying than Pink Venom by Blackpink.

I also didn't like the song much except for the chorus. I think the problem is the 'WAY' the words in the verses are placed/used. Irrespective of the meaning and the language, it doesn't give the satisfaction to a listener(for someone like me)when i hear them singing those phrases. I don't know how much of my perspective could be understood with this poor way of explaining and yeah that's what i think of the song 'Drama'.
Talking about the music video, it was top notch and each one of them looked beautiful.
Coming to their album songs, i would say, it didn't impact me much unlike their savage and spicy albums.
