I think SM focus only in Korean public, the rest is bonus. BTS's yearly production (in terms of concept, themes) was almost identical as EXO's (I think it was the same group working for both), yet BTS had a international career focus, thus their success around the globe (in terms of fame and $$$), even tho SM artists having stronger vocal skills, better producers and being more musically creative. Old bighit is richer than SM now. SM had multiple groups, and BTS was the only one at that time! Unfortunately, SM artists have to work with modeling etc and don't develop as music artists, other than performance and vocal skills. (no composing, writing, producing). See F(x) situation... I'm afraid RV is next ;-;

Honestly put every group to do a tour because that CHANGES them. Also, after everything that happened in "Girls" era they got SO MUCH BETTER, the Dua Lipa treatment worked for them. I loved everything about this comeback, it really seems like SM gave a shit about the visuals, production (like their album package????), everything is cohesive. I love these girls and I'm thrilled for all the success and praise they're getting right now.

I've been an aespa fan since day 1 but I feel like they've really grown into their concept and found their colors the last few comebacks. If they went mainstream they would've succeeded like the others but they're true to their roots and want to succeed using their origins. Which is not for everyone. There are people who don't like it and think it's messy but it's completely unique and screams SM whenever you hear it. And those who tried experimenting failed miserably because they kept getting compared to SM, that are a master in their field. All in all, my love for SM artists and artistry never ended and will never end.

Also if I'm not wrong, production centre 1 manages aespa along with BoA & SNSD. I don't like to praise SM for their management but aespa's centre has been killing it ever since Spicy era. Been a while since i liked a song from 1st listen maybe the last was "Drama" ?!! But Armageddon???! Man i fell in love with the song.... The girls have blown me away actually. Supernova was great but Armageddon with this chorus and oriental instrumentation was - as you said - pure excellence. One of the best kpop songs and MVs ever. This is how you do it !!! Aespa and SM as its best. They looked so gorgeous.

Ooof the competition for SOTY this 2024 is TOUGH!! For me it’s between Aespa or TxT, but there have been lot of great comebacks this year. What you said about how this is how you do the dual title tracks rollout is so true. Supernova and Armageddon where the perfect pair. They’re different, especially visually, but also so cohesive, not just with each other, but with Aespa’s whole discography. I think my favourite on the album is Mine, followed by Armageddon and then maybe Prologue. One thing about Aespa, the styling and concept is gonna give every time! 😌
There were truly no misses with this comeback. Usually SM is letting me down in at least some way, but they ate at every angle. Also their mind to release a CD player???? It may be expensive as fuck but it stays sold out. Who is doing it like them... WHO 💅✨️

aespa slays as usual, this comeback might be one of if not the best for me. Such an iconic era alrdy! My reaction was the same as you when I saw Karina started with the rap. What a fire line. Also if I'm not wrong, production centre 1 manages aespa along with BoA & SNSD. I don't like to praise SM for their management but aespa's centre has been killing it ever since Spicy era. Hopefully they keep up with the good work to promote their artists well.

I'll be honest, I haven't really listened to aespa since Girls (Savage and Drama era weren't really for me) but THIS album is music excellence. from composition, melodies, vocals, fashion, visuals, NINGNING. 10/10

Im an SM stan but at this point honestly even if i dont like SM as a management but i just cant deny the quality of SM group is really on another level, the song, the visual, the talent, the concept, the whole storyline is crazy.....this is why SM is the pioneer of everything, they never run out of idea

That's why i can never hate SMent no matter how much it gets on my nerves with their mismanagement and sunghan's case but they never miss with music their artists are talented AF and their vision is solid they have a set identity and they are not afraid to spend the money where it should go cuz they have confidence in their artists and vision too

The girls have blown me away actually. Supernova was great but Armageddon with this chorus and oriental instrumentation was - as you said - pure excellence. One of the best kpop songs and MVs ever. This is how you do it !!! Aespa and SM as its best. They looked so gorgeous.

Ooof the competition for SOTY this 2024 is TOUGH!! For me it’s between Aespa or TxT, but there have been lot of great comebacks this year.
What you said about how this is how you do the dual title tracks rollout is so true. Supernova and Armageddon where the perfect pair. They’re different, especially visually, but also so cohesive, not just with each other, but with Aespa’s whole discography.
I think my favourite on the album is Mine, followed by Armageddon and then maybe Prologue. One thing about Aespa, the styling and concept is gonna give every time! 😌

There were truly no misses with this comeback. Usually SM is letting me down in at least some way, but they ate at every angle. Also their mind to release a CD player???? It may be expensive as fuck but it stays sold out. Who is doing it like them... WHO 💅✨️

AESPA did their big one with this no lie. I thought they couldn’t beat DRAMA but they proved me wrong I was absolutely speechless in the best way possible. They are just too good ❤
What I find crazy is that this whole project was top secret and EXPENSIVE. They didn’t want any kind of leaks at all and they are gonna get so much return on this investment of an album. They really decided “this is aespa’s year” and went all out.
