- Join me for the next installment of this yarn dyeing series where I share my process for dyeing some of the colorways for the Fiber for the People® yarn clubs. This time, I'm finding my inspiration in rust and oxidation and dreaming up colorways to capture that beautiful and unstoppable process as part of the newest FFTP yarn club, OXIDE. (This club is now closed, however if you're interested in taking part in a Fiber for the People® yarn club, keep posted over on Instagram, as well as through the newsletter in the online shop (link below). The next club launches in January.
PART 3: The One-Hour Layer--Join me as I turn this pink and blue baby shower party favor into something beautiful. (It's all part of the process! And yes. This layer took an hour.)
Part 4 is coming soon!
//PLEASE NOTE: I am glad to share my creative process with you here, but please know that any colorways created by me for the purpose of selling under my brand, Fiber for the People® (such as the one featured in this series) are protected under copyright common law and may not be recreated knowingly by any other individual for the purpose of reselling. Hello from Tennessee! You're amazing....as usual 😜. Would you ever consider dying roving for us spinners? I thought crocheting and knitting were a bit addictive and soothing till i started spinning this past year. Can't get enough. Would love your techniques on fiber to spin. 😊
I have definitely thought about dyeing roving. It's on my 2020 shop goal list. 😉
Amazing! Can't wait for the finale! Question: what kind of gloves are you wearing?
