I actually loved the A-Team movie. It was a fun, action-packed movie. Wished Rampage did more action movies. Could've been in Fast & Furious or more lol
The A-Team is, in my silly opinion, the most underrated movie of the 2010s. You don’t get a lot of cold opens in movies, but the A-Teams cold open was worth the price of admission alone, then you get an entire movie after the Mexico introduction of the characters. And the rest of the movie is unapologetically awesome. They flew a tank and made you believe that it might just be possible, if only for a second.
the problem being the movie didn't launch a movie career, and realistically he could've been getting paid 1 million a fight if he had stuck with the UFC, or something close to what upper midcard darlings that the UFC keeps around. The main issue I see with Rampage fighting Rashad is that there is no guarantee he could've ever beaten Jon Jones and gone anywhere higher. I think he peaked with A-Team
@@InvisibleHotdog There are a handful of guys that get that per fight. Porier and gaethje for example make that to show, not even counting wins. Maybe a million is asking too much from Rampage, but ball park fighting twice a year, a milllion is realistic
I grew up in the 80s watching The A-Team first run. Movies are going to flex certain series runs meaning that they are going to compact two or three seasons into a 90-minute or possibly 2-hour run time. I enjoyed the A-Team movie and thought that all of the characters were well represented. Rampage Jackson in my opinion was very good B.A.
I've heard that residual checks can very well be as small as Rampage says even though I didn't believe it the 1st time I heard it. Even for A-list actors like Denzel Washington who has also confirmed this on record. Denzel said they can still be that small, talking less than 5$.
lol how do you know? He was not a A-list actor, he was new to the movie industry. Although it was a blockbuster film, that doesn't guarantee you a lucrative deal. Every film has a budget and at the time you had guys like Liam Neeson (Taken), Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) who were on tears in Hollywood. There is no way he got the same pay as they did.
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. Billy Madison
Rampage had a crazy ass fight contract at the time. He made the most of any fighter in the ufc. He got ppv points and appearance fee. I think he means, if he had fought he would have made more money than doing the movie?
Rampage said one of the funniest things about his contract that I ever heard. He wanted to renegotiate his contract. He said he’s got one son that needs money for college, and another son that needs money for future legal fees…

A Team should have honestly got a sequel and became a franchise, it was really good and one of the only movies I got on DVD happily to this day.
I really liked that movie
me too
A-Team was awesome though.
It absolutely was not pure garbage 😂😂
The original was
The production was a shit-show. I worked on the movie back in 2009 or whatever, and it was just nuts.
Awful movie.

A Team is a wonderful movie. One of the better movies that was super low key
Underrated movie.
The sequel we never got

Barely anyone gets paid a million in the UFC
it could have, he admits he was negligent in outsourcing decisions to a former manager who sabotaged him

@@tormmac The one that he says is friendly with the UFC?

That A-team movie is one of my absolute favorite movies!
I really hope he does more acting, Of they ever make a Gears of War movie he would be perfect for Cole Train
I remember he was supposed to fight Rashad after TUF in December of 2009, I think it was UFC 107, instead it was Mir v Kongo as the co-main event
He was also in the movie the midnight meat train too with Bradley cooper too.
Rampage was really popular
Was*
Why did the movie didn't get a sequel?
Love that movie
Well the film also flopped😂😂😂
I call BS.
He didn't lose money (or going into the hole) by staring in the movie.
