HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. After watching two of your Japan food tour episodes, my wife and I were so inspired we went out to eat sushi and sashimi for the first time in our lives! We asked questions to the waiter about the sashimi and told him we had just watched your show. He, the waiter, had also watched the same episodes! Keep up the great work! Your shows help us to get through home dialysis that has my wife sitting in a chair for three hours every day. (Unfortunately for us it is dialysis, eat, repeat!) You don't know how much you have helped and inspired us. Best wishes to you and your fiance'.
I went to the exact ramen place in Kyoto. The owner is VERY nice! Japanese people notice if customers come back. We ate there three times while in Kyoto, and the owner noticed us. She gave us a complementary dish of slice pork as a token of thanks for returning to her ramen place. The fry rice there is to die for!
much love Trevor love your positive kind energy towards every culture and understanding the respect for each culture it's amazing brings peace and love and we need that energy nowadays keep up the amazing work love you man!!!!
WOW! That giant mussel at the market was insane! The guy who served it up is a master...so quick, and yet a beautiful presentation. Japanese food is my passion these days, and everything looked amazing. Thanks for taking me there, Trevor!
The fish market looks amazing! It must be difficult to choose. I love watching your adventures because you're honest, respectful and seem like you truly enjoy your job. Keep it up!!
We found GIANT MUSSELS and tons of delicious street food in Kyoto! Make sure to watch all the way until the end for the beautiful beautiful bowl of ramen! And follow the adventure behind the scenes here instagram.com/thefoodranger I hope you are doing well and enjoying life! We are back in China now and leaving for India for our Ramadan street food tour very shortly! I can’t wait to share with you what we find! I was sooooo disappointed when I tried takoyaki. The center is uncooked batter and I thought I had got some that were not well made but then read that that is how they are suppose to be...
Hey Trevor and Ting Ting thanks for video footage loved the Giant Mussels!! and Big bowls of Ramen🍲🥘 your friend Sheila in United States Massachusetts 😁☺
Hey, Trevor i recently started watching your videos and have enjoyed them a lot. I like your genuine happiness when you're eating something. Keep up the great work.
I thought I had subscribed when it was in the 1 million + level , fixed the error..... enjoyed every single video . I want to go to Japan and China to eat - your experience and score are great guides !
The food and the people look wonderful. Through you I can experience Japan vicariously. I was stationed in Korea in '96 - '97 and never got the opportunity to go to Japan. Thank you so much for sharing!
Awesome video mate I've never been to Japan but I've spent my holidays traveling around China. Great food and so much scenery well done for making the leap over to Japan 看起来很好吃
Trevor, I just love your positive attitude, and your graciousness toward people in whatever country you happen to be in. I also appreciate the glimpse into the countries and cultures you bring to us. Keep up the great work, and thanks!
I love how he is always enthusiastic it makes watching him eat food enjoyable. But every time I watch a video I always wonder if the camera crew gets to try some of this food lol
You are very energetic. I think you should make a video with some best(appetizing) food you have ever tested which can be individual for each country ( I mean the best mouth watering food in those countries)
Hi Trevor, instead of going to the conveyor belt sushi restaurants, I suggest you give a try to "Genki Sushi". You choose from an Ipad what you want and it arrives right away in front of you on a car or boat or whatever platter. It's a very nice experience and you can choose to pay more for high quality food like the fatty Tuna or Horse sashimi or Uni, etc. It's also always fresh since it's been just made up for you. Btw, I approve the fact that the sushis in Japan dipped in the Soy sauce + wasabi is simply the best thing ever! But nothing compares to them sushis made right in front of you by a sushi master :)! Hope you enjoy your time in Japan, I just left for Bali, but would've love to meet you there! Maybe next time!
Hattsoff u sir, bcoz everyone in this world is dreaming to travel and eat but due to many reasons not everybody can.Hiding all your pains behind the scenes you are entertaining us.The only thing I can do for you is to subscribe that I have already done

MsKestrela
Was wondering if it would smell/taste "fishy" being that big... but damn, looks amazing
Bobbius Shadow Fresh seafood never smells fishy. It's seafood that's not fresh that gives off that fishy smell n taste that people are terrified of.
Lorelai True. Coming from Florida, where we have very hit or miss seafood quality.
The takoyaki guy was fast
Omg Trevor looks like the actor christoph waltz! Anyone else agree?
I like how he spoke to the vendor in Cantonese and was like wait I'm in Japan and switches to Japanese instead XD
"TEM-PURE-RAA" LOL
Yes, Trevor's pronunciation made me chuckle.
I cringe every time he says it. 😐 TEMPYOORA
Ugh why must he why
LOL I said the same!!!!! TEN PU RA!
Japan is one of the safest countries in the world for humans but probably the worst and unsafest place to be a fish or any other marine creature LOL
Ya u go warn them
So?
Sure is it's all radioactive with cesium 137
What about the cyclone that happened not to long ago
How bout the word tsunami?
1:16 “it's big, it's huge.” My mom look at me for a second.
Oh she knows that you have a big dicj
I enjoy your enthusiasm and the vocabulary you use to describe your experiences - it really conveys the nuances of each taste perfectly!

Awesome content Trevor. Just one little thing, try pronouncing tempura as tem puh ra as opposed to tem pure a. Love your work. You are awesome!

Your videos are super cool! Thank you for sharing your adventures to all of us 😊
