She was very sick at the Games, it even was uncertain if she would compete until the day. She was palid, tired and with fever and still competed all her program.
@Joshua you're actually quite wrong there. Shang could have been really hammered for her FX routine, and got off pretty lightly. On the other hand, Mustafina's D Score was ripped apart in the AA Final, and Shang was in no way judged with that same level of harshness. If anything - Shang was lucky to get 4th.
She was underscored a bunch of times at the Olympics, but I honestly think this score was a little high. She didn't do the wolf turn, didn't come close to rotating the 3.5, and did a really bad double pike
@@connormccool9310 Oh, really? was referring to the deduction. That being said, I honestly think the judges had the chance to not count the element. She was really less than halfway through the last half turn. I can't imagine any judges would take away that element because it would absolutely ruin her routine's D score.
@@colesmith7509 The wolf turn in her routine was always useless anyway and shouldn't have been there. It only added .1 start value and is always going to get deducted, so there's no point.

Her story breaks my heart and she was so good too!!
She almost runs out of time, as you can see at the very end she opted not to add her double wolf turn.
She was also absolutely exhausted. She had the flu
she is so sick that day,we can see that by her pale lips,I cant believe they can do this to such a hard-working girl
Wow, they really deduct if your name isn’t Mustafina.
I love Mustafina, but true
Or Raismen or Overscocian

Mustafina's choreo is way better than this one
@Chanel Oberlin No. It wasn't.
Im a big Shang fan but this was a fair score lol. first an last pass were rough. just a better double pike would've meant event finals

@@kevr7887 they can deduct for underrotation, just not downgrade

@@colesmith7509she wasn’t underscored, she underperformed- due to being sick nearly constantly throughout the games. It’s that simple.
商春松認真好棒😊❤
She forgot the thing at the end
I think she didn't forget, but didn't do it cuz lack of time.
@@juliakrystal19 it was good improvisation!
I think she was too tired and ill to do it
little bit underrotated
