This is a realy wild mix of coins from all ages, materials, sizes and price tags. I'd be as excited as you, digging through them. Thank you Christian, for sharing your journey and learning curve, especially of world coins. Greetings from Germany
Very nice assortment of quality world coins. I assume that this guy travelled a lot, had a nice income and spent a pretty penny at different coin shops and markets. Bummer that he didn´t start a "real" collection, with his means that would have been a great one. Greets from GER, U. P.S. 14:30 These are 10 centimes 1812 from "Koenigreich Westphalen" (Hannover, parts of Prussia and Hessen), a short living "kingdom" under the rule of one of Napoleon´s relatives, Hieronymus Napoleon. His nick name was "Koenig Lustig" (funny king).
I would love that collection. Iam kinda doing a modern silver and gold coin collection from all over the world, for my daughter. All from 2021, her birth year.
I would love to have a collection like that...but I think there's a good chance that those Chinese coins are real, just the sound they made when you were taking them out of the bag sounded like silver to me
For 5 decades I’ve gone thru life w/o apologizing for the myriad things I’ve done wrong, I don’t need anyones validation only from the Most High. All else pay
the really confusing thing is that Caracalla and Elagabalus were all called Marcus Aurelius Antoninus so the only way to really tell them apart is to look for facial features and whatnot
1880 S Morgan looked more like a MS63 or 64 on a good day. The PL reverse was nice but the cheek and fields of the obverse were very baggy. Also 80' S is a tougher graded year, a lot of the 79-82 S minted coins came very nice and lustrous making the graders need to be more conservative through those years.
Napoleon was hated because he put Anglo-Saxon’s I their place, at sea. It seems to come up in history but it shows he’d rather stayed outta Russia. Let’s do it again
@@spartanumismatics8165 I've no doubt some of them are I just don't know enough about ancients to put a value on them , that's why I didn't include them in my value assessment
Pretty sure the China republic coins are fake, if they're not 2.5 mm thick x 39 mm diameter, then they aren't real, but they could still have some silver content
Those rubles are from the SOVIET UNION, not Russia. It's not the same. That's like to compare the United Kingdom and England, which are also not the same. You're ignorant.
What an awesome collection.
It really is!

That's what I'm thinking! And I really appreciate the comment!
Nice coin keep collecting😮😮
Great coins. I wonder if the collector was able to enjoy looking at them. Not just hidden in the suitcase.
I would agree you enjoy your collection weaayyy more when able to just look and see them on a shelf or something.
Wow!!! it's no longer a suitcase, but a real treasure chest

This are valuable items and I can't wait for the feedback since some are Key Dates coins .
Honestly a great little collection, random but I’ll take random silver any day of the week.
1996 is the best American silver eagle year not 1995. Awesome video I loved it
It’s true, what they say…you can’t take it with you.
good video
Christian, it is a hammered coin. There is no machine doubling LMAO.
I used to own a gold 5 rubles from Russia just like the one you showed. I believe it was dated 1904 and cost me like $195 or so

I’m looking to get into the coin of trading and keeping some what is the best way is to get started
Very nice collection minus the ancients and Chinese which are probably fake if sold properly I see about 6k-8k USD
The ancients are very interesting much more valuable than you realize.
