    I like that you framed it in context of a project but some people don't have the time for that. It would be good to just demonstrate the full steps before even jumping in that. Would save people a lot of time.

    For me, interactive PDFs are still a fairly new thing.
    I have already packed links into a PDF, but otherwise not worked with it yet.

    Hey Angelo, thank you for your video, this is really helpful :) do you know how to make those two colors fade more smoothly instead of plinking back and forth? It would be nice to make interactive in such a way that you could click the color circles to show the different colored bags. I would be very grateful if you give me some advice on that. In any case, have an enjoyable week :)

      Hi Derrick. You could have an issue with Flash which is why it may not be working for PDF. Keep in mind Adobe is phasing out flash at the end of this year, so if it's a document you plan to use long-term, perhaps think of another plan.

    Great Tutorial. But how can I export animated files from InDesign? Thx

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  2 роки тому

      Great question! There are a couple simple ways you can export this. The first is using InDesign's Publish Online, where you can host the project on an Adobe site and share the link or embed the code to your own site. Secondly, you can go to File > Export > EPub (Fixed Layout) and view the EPub file in an e-reader. If you're on Mac/iOS, then Apple Books is the best. If you're on Windows/Android, search which e-reader works the best for you. Hope that helps!

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  2 роки тому +3

      Hey Pao! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciated it. As far as your question, this will not work for PDF Interactive. It is HTML based, so you can use InDesign's Publish Online tool or Export as EPub (Fixed Layout) to view the project in an e-reader such as Apple Books. Take care!

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Jonathan. Interactive PDF was Flash-based so rich media and other interactivity won't work in that platform any longer. What I did was Publish Online, which carries over the project and presents it as HTML right in your browser. It's not possible to publish a Interactive PDF in a browser. All the best.

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  2 роки тому +1

      Hey Thinksy. There are three common ways of exporting a project like this - two are a little easier than the last.
      First, you can use Adobe's Publish Online feature which will publish to an Adobe-hosted site that you can share or embed.
      Second, you can use the Export to Epub (Fixed Layout) and view the project in an e-reader with all HTML5 interactivity intact.
      Third, you can export for HTML, which will create folders with the html, js and images to hand off to a developer that can help you building it custom for your site.
      Those are three options to consider, but it sounds like the last would be what you'd need. All the best.

    • @AngeloMontilla

      Hi Paula! If you don't want to publish online, I suggest exporting as EPub (Fixed Layout) and view the work in an e-reader such as Apple Books or Adobe Digital Editions. I always recommend having this be an alternative to PDF Interactive as the animation, rich media and interactivity will not be functional.
