This FC was a complete surprise. Right after I got done with Heroes of Our Times, I started going for this song, and it only took me half an hour to get an FC. The video you're watching is actually a Re-FC; I messed up a star power activation on my first FC, so I went back to improve it, and again it only took about another half hour. I played through the solo a few times in practice, and I only missed once. After playing the solo in practice, I noticed that there a few a notes that you have to strum in normal play that you don't have to strum in practice, which actually lead to me missing in one of my runs. The hardest part is the outro, just like OGaP, and as you hopefully saw before this, I did have a choke on the 4th to last note. I'm very glad I didn't have to grind this out over multiple days, it was very refreshing being able to just sit down for less than an hour and FC an official DLC Dragonforce song. feelsgoodman

it's weird but while Through The Fire And Flames is Overcharted, this song is clearly Undercharted in many sections
Revolution Deathsquad will always be my favorite DragonForce song! The guitar notes are beautiful, especially 3:23-6:51, the lyrics are excellent for a fantasy battle between angels and demons, and ZP Theart's melodical voice is perfect for this song, especially with his high notes and nice use of Autotune at some places. Sure, Through the Fire and Flames is awesome as well, but Revolution Deathsquad is a song from DragonForce that appeals to me the most.

6:15 this part actually should be have much more notes. I often listen this part in slowmo, it has more notes.
They probably reduced some passages to make it more fun to play. They did the same in Operation Ground and Pound.

I think they made it easier on purpose cause they didn’t want another song to be harder than through the fire and flames which was supposed to be the hardest song
There is a few sections in this song that do need more notes if we're going for 100% mapping, but thats not the point. They do want people to actually enjoy the game lol

I do really think this song is better than ttfaf because this solo and the ogap solo are a lot more fun because of their simple tapping patterns and they're less sweaty. The song is just really good as well. Def would have put this at the end of the gh3 song list or ogap

That’s not a hack. That’s actually something that hacks don’t do. That’s called anchoring, or maybe it was just more comfortable to hold down both. You can hold down as many notes as you want as long as it’s a singular note and it’s higher than the ones being pressed.
