Kudos to this documentation effort. This is valuable footage depicting the standard level of RCC construction practice for residential buildings in most tier 1 and 2 cities ( in the plains regions) of India and i guess, many parts of Asia too. However, the level of RCC practice in small towns and villages falls far short of this, resulting in vulnerable buildings. This video is almost educational for that segment of construction. Of course there are corrections needed, water proofing is absent, safety is ignored, etc. But it's still incredible how the mostly learn-on-the-job construction workforce of india manages to deliver this. We built 2bhk 700 sqft in 6 months at 14 lakhs in Bengaluru. It’s amazing how it has improved, construction used to take years but now houses are constructed within months.
The quality of this structure is certainly good. Ample of steel and load bearing used and attention is given to the strength aspect as well as security. The worker safety protocols are way to improve - but the structure would last for 100 years easily.
