Thank you Pene that was lovely. I loved Pete’s story, Laura reminded me of my African Grey called Valentine, he loved his head tickled but used to get very cross with people he didn’t know 😊 looking forward to your next episode xx
Thank you, Pene - I enjoyed sitting here with my sock knitting whilst spending time with you! I was particularly interested in the TA this week - very helpful, especially as your own little story related to podcast-making! You definitely need to keep listening to “adult”! I also love your description of having a “washing machine head” - I can really identify with that! It was also interesting to hear about John Buchan. See you again soon! xx
Thanks Helen, More about John Buchan next Saturday, So glad you're enjoying my efforts. Happy to say Adult is being listened to. My friend wrote a poem about it all for next weeks podcast. So funny! See you then.
Really loved this episode. Poor Laura! Pete has a wonderful gift of writing. I remember the steps, I'd not long lived in Broadstairs and had come to yours for the day. Kim and I went down there and I remember being amazed how they had been cut through the cliff.
@@penelopeschinwag I have some lovely memories of times spent with you all. I always remember us laughing. Kim and I are still the same when we meet up now!
Another lovely episode 🥰 thankyou Penny 💖 Enjoying learning TA from you… really interesting! You did make me chuckle talking about Pete’s expanding tummy…and a snug fit! Reminds me of someone else haha! Xxx
We live in the North Georgia mountains in the US. We went to see a double waterfall the other day and my husband and grand daughter took their shoes off and got in the water at the base of the falls. I looked around and saw the biggest salamander crawling out of the water and moving slowly up the rock right next to us. It is called a hellbender and you might enjoy or be horrified by looking it up. lol

Always a battle with tummies in this house. Happy you're enjoying the TA. Have a good week.
I remember those steps. A bit scary and now with my bad knee it would be a big effort to get up and down. Keep going Penelope.
Aw thanks, will do, more about the steps and Wilkie Collins next week. We're puffed when we get to the top!

How wonderful. They are near threatened I see. It sounds as if you live in a beautiful place.
