That is one of the smartest upgrade to make to any vehicle. You can make it faster easily but you best make it stop first. I love doing the duel rear caliper setup so you could have a fun handbrake in addition to your brakes for some side way action. What a nice old truck, I love manual transmission. Them old small block chevy's can make some good reliable power cheaply too. I punched one out too a 383 stroker put a high rise twin 4 barrel double pumper carburetor with a filter popping out above the hook on my old truck. It'd lift the front end if I put sand bags so the rear could hook up. Keep up the great work!

Don't worry about alternating the lugs when taking them off it only matters when you put the wheel on to ensure they seat correctly, sorry my ocd is real lol. Great vid, great channel! Keep it up!

I just found this video. I am in the process of picking up a 68 C10 longbed. I would love to do an engine swap and disc brake upgrade and air ride along with some AC. Anyway thanks for the video

ALWAYS use plenty of anti-seize and brake grease. You'll hate yourself later if you don't. I've learned that lesson...

This channel is the reason I started looking for a Longbed C10. Finally found one this weekend with the right patina and fuel injection this past weekend after 3 years. What drop is on this truck

Did you have to install a power brake booster like hydro boost or one that uses a vacuum line?

Did you change out the brake proportioning valve? My understanding is that the disc brakes need more fluid than the drum brakes to work. Also I am changing my truck from all drum brake to all disc brakes so I am also changing the master cylinder to a bigger one since the disc brakes will need a larger amount of fluid to make them work correctly.

Did you have any problems bleeding the rear brakes? I am trying to install the same setup and cant get fluid out of the rear bleeders.

I hope you didn't use PLA for your mount. PLA wont hold up inside a hot car.

FYI, You were interesting and attractive doing small engine projects. Moving into full sized cars and or trucks is a different audience. I'm not interested any more.

Our first video ever is a Jeep engine swap and one of our most successful series was the Jeep CJ build. We have cars that we work on and we figure we should film it for the people who like that stuff. If you don't that's fine, the main focus of the channel is always going to be small engine projects so that's not going anywhere
