Please come to California, USA! Your podcast, website and YT postings have been so educational and life changing for me. I am an RN and it's even difficult for me to get the correct amount of dosage, as I also do not absorb well. I've been spreading the news and now have several friends/colleagues on HRT. So many MDs here are still hesitant of prescribing higher doses of HRT (due to liability and WHI study), when birth control pills have a much higher dose of synthetic hormones with awful side effects. Very frustrating, but not giving up. Bless you!

Dear Dr Newson, I have been always hungry for information and knowledge considering the lack of both of those at medical level. After surgical menopause at age 41, I totally lost myself. Looking the same on the outside, but not recognising the girl that lived in that body. I remember weeks after surgery, the worry, almost panic, when a hairdesser cut my hair only centimeters shorter than everyone was used to. I did not want anyone to notice any change.. I now compassionately smile at that poor girl. If only she had received the correct support. I got some estrogel right after surgery but it gave me side effects so the doctor decided I could stop, as I did not have any other menopausal side effects. No hot flashes or anything. Little did I know the process continued silently inside. It took me at least 5 years before I got prescribed some vaginal estriol. We’re now 15 years later and the silent destruction went on all those years. BUT I did not stop investigating and jumped on the hrt info once I found it. Your channel is the best regarding detailed information, for which I was and am so grateful. I even did some self test with vaginal creme rubbing it on my thighs to see if it would have any effect at all. I was blown away by what happened. It was only low dosed estriol - have to say I am quite sensitive to everything - but the effect was amazing. All of a sudden the girl, I thought I had lost completely, re-appeared. Wowww. I prepared myself for an appointment with a specialist, as I wanted of course to do it the correct way and received my estradiol transdermal spray. This time, I was able to use it. Soooo grateful. But I am not stopping yet. On the quest for testosterone and a correct progesterone (although not having a womb). I started utrogestan, but had to stop it after 2 days. Yes, it was calming, but in a manner not workable for me. I was totally numbed. 😴 Sensitive, remember? 🙄 It all takes time to make new appointments, test new hormones if suited for me. And the problem remains.. no real support system that is anything compared to what your clinics have to offer. BUT no giving up yet here! I also talk to it with female family members and my girl friends. Some of them also started now on HRT. Not everyone is as eager to dive into the details, but I tried to give them some low key info, preparing them to confront their specialists. Because it is terrible to hear so many of my friends talking about symptoms without remedies, but never thinking of menopause themselves. Oeps.. I did bot plan to write all of this. I just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for being such a wonderful teacher and giving each of us the tools to fight our own battles, wherever we might live. I still have unsolved questions, but I know perhaps I will find the answer in the next podcast. Wishing you and your family a beautiful Xmas holiday filled with lots of love, fun, goodies and cosiness. Same to all the other ladies sharing this journey. 🥰

Hi Louise, just to say that the insight and knowledge you share has helped me so much. I never thought the issues I was having with sleep and anxiety were due to perimenopause and had been told by my GP that I wouldn't have been eligible for HRT. Accessing HRT privately has been a game changer. I feel back on track, and I can sleep again! My confidence is back. I wouldn't have had the info to pursue this without your online advice. Thankyou so much.

My deepest gratitude, Louise, for all your hard work and dedication. You, my doctor at your clinic and your team, have changed my life and have given me such incredible support and help, I sincerely don’t know what I'd have done without it. I would love to share the publication you mentioned about dosing with my NHS doctor. Might the publication be available on your website once it is published? Kindness of thanks 🙏

Will you be running a course to train health care or well-being coaches? I'm looking to train in 2025.

Why is there a shortage of estrogen patches in Australia? Is this happening in the UK as well?

My Dr will give it but isn't much help with options when there's side effects.
