My mother saw Elvis at The Louisiana Hayride. I remember her crying at hearing the news that he had died. Elvis was special. Rest in peace Elvis. ❤️🙏🏻
2021
So cool and sad
Micheal Hodge
That was very special for your mom.. ❤️
my grandmother saw him there too, she told me right before she died. so sad he died so young, such a truly talented human
"Damn this kid's raw, you think he's gon' make it one day?"
- Some guy in the audience, 1955
Elvis Presley won't be repeated by anyone not ever
Just love the the early rockabilly sound of Let's play House !!!!!
"Baby Let's Play House" and "That's All Right" sent us into frenzy back in 1955!
"Let's play house"...pretty racy then huh? Lol
@@moni2675 At a Jacksonville Florida live concert I attended in '56, our juvenile judge ordered Elvis not to move. He moved his finger, and it was just as sexy.
Baby Let's Play House, was his mama
Gladys favorite ❤❤❤
I lived in Wichita Falls and could sometimes pick up the Hayride on AM radio when conditions were just right. The announcer said they would perform in Wichita Falls on tour in Texas. I was lucky enough to see that show. We went backstage and talked with Elvis and got his autograph. I have been a fan since.
What a marvelous thing happened to you! I hope you realize how fortunate you were!
That little laugh as he sings the start of the verse at 2:38... Pure gold. Bless you Elvis, I can see why God called you home. Thank you for this recording. What a treasure!
OH, YA my great grandma danced with Elvis before he was famous!
I don't know but I think this guy has got something goin on here. I hope he makes it someday
I Think he will be okay!
Awesome to hear this, especially after seeing the Louisiana Hayride scene in the new Elvis movie ✨ Oh how I wish time machines existed 😩
He was so handsome
The Birth of SOUTHERN ROCK!!!! Rest in Peace my SOUTHERN BROTHER!!
AUSTIN BUTLER SOUNDS JUST LIKE ELVIS DID, no wonder the Director saw Butler in that roll!
Wish I had time machine and go back to 1955 to see this performance. This is closest we have Thank you Elvis.
i always think about this
Me too...
Nobody will ever compare to this man and his voice, charisma, and of course what a handsome man. Its special to hear his young voice here.😉
I just love how everyone back then called adults ,Mr..and Mrs! Times have really changed..
20 year old elvis was very great
The man was perfect in every way
No author's spin here. This type of performance is what made him a star.
I'm 60 years old and I know all musical styles. I've been listening to Elvis since I was 10 years old. I come from Switzerland (Lucerne). I appreciate any kind of good music. I also know all the songs by Johnny Cash and June Carter (Great). However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time. He implied all the power of his soul in all his songs. One could almost say: he gave away his whole heart to his listeners. So, in that way, this is definitely unique. Denis Herger
He gave it all to us until he simply had no more to give. God bless him. There will never ever be another.
So true.Well said.I agree 💯%!
Agreed 100%
The Memphis Flash, taking care of business. ;)
Must be the best music performances in history. What a pity I wasn't there! There are simply no words for it.
Years later, Elvis would say that his early days traveling and playing with the Louisiana Hayride we're his happiest.
@@prairiehills416 But must have been quite a hard job, travelling and sleeping in the car on small county roads.
Scotty sounded mean on that axe!!!
So great to hear this. You can hear him stutter a bit here. Didn't stop him though!
thats the reason i searched for this video. i heard he stutters in between songs so i had to see for myself. its really reassuring when elvis presley shows some of the same speech patterns that i have, mines a lot worst but on a good days sounds like his.
initially I thought the stuttering was intentional
エルビス comeback ❤😂🎉
ビル ブラックとスコッテイ ムアとサンタナの頃が超素敵で気絶寸前。
エルビスの去った世の中は虚ろ。
エルビスに逢いたいぞ‼️
My Mom and her girlfriends used to go to the Louisianan Hayride all the time and they saw Elvis many times
ELVIS PRESLEY WAS GREAT THAN AND STILL NOW . WE THE FANS LOVE HIM . PRAYING FOR LISA AND FAMILY .HAPPY BIRHDAY 88 ELVIS PRESLEY.2023..
My Dad was stationed at Barksdale AFB and tinkered around at the Hayride a few times with the radio broadcast. Years later he interviewed Elvis at a radio station in south Arkansas
Nobody in this world can come close to Elvis Presley ❤️🙌 I am a musician and have been exposed to all styles of music. Elvis remains unique and best performance in the world 🌎⚡⚡⚡
Priscilla herself has says that Shawn klush is the closest thing there is to elvis
@@douglewis5701 when he was younger. We never saw Elvis old. So it's difficult for the fans to see someone older impersonating Elvis
I agree completely with you.😊
That man is perfect
We could have had so much more great music like this out of him if parker hadnt put him in the movies.
Elvis wanted to be in the movies. Get an education.
@@CooManTunes i don’t think education applies to knowing this😭 you sound stupid
Oh, the early days of Elvis was before I even born but his music is timeless. Such great vocals that just come out like flowing water in a river. Gladys said in the 1956 interview in Tupelo that Let's Play House and Don't Be Cruel were her favorite songs that Elvis sang. Just listen to the crowd right before he sings It's Alright Momma. His beautiful untrained voice sent people into frenzies. Still the King of rock and roll after all of these decades.
One of the best 3 song sets in history
GO! ELVIS! GO!
2021
I'm Elvis fan for 25 years and it's the first time i'm listening him singing Maybellene, I have chills all over my body!!!
The king ascending the throne. So exciting.
Elvis sounds tremendously nervous and he was even struggling to finish what he was trying to say on stage.
Got to also say amazing to hear a Rockabilly version of Chuck Berry's Maybeline and the famous That's alright mama. Rockabilly was what started it all for Elvis, Scotty Moore and Bill Black and they were cutting edge of music at the time.
Just wonderful. Always such a great sense of humor. ❤️❤️❤️
若さ溢れるエルビス
ここから歴史は始まった🤩
Elvis best rock and roll records are on the Sun label. Pure, raw rock and roll that you just have to move to and sing along with.
Totally agree.
It was all Rockabilly at the Sun. The Rock'N'Roll was all at the RCA.
6:18 best version of "That's All Right Mama" ever
Miss him so very much. Thanks for the memories. He has such a keen Spence of humor🤗
Still Elvis was the best performing artist with the most talented voice. Thanks✌️👑👼❤️🎅☃️🥳
Absolute Legend 🙏 Elvis just blows me away⚡️🎼
I'm old enough, albeit was very young. The high and mighty critics slammed Elvis pretty writing and saying this man could not really sing, he was some kind of fraud. When something comes along that's new, different, and unfamiliar it takes time for acceptance.
Listen to the CROWD 😳🥰🤣
He’s gonna be famous one day
I’m surprised with how well enunciated his words are here 👌🏿✝️
All his music is like that. It’s one of his distinguishing factors, I believe.
OMG! How shock!
GOLD
"What's the matter with you"😂😂
That ain't on here
I wish I could have seen him in person, but I was born in 1973. But I have an uncle that looks like him. Respect, we wish you hear still. RIP.
IMMORTAL! ❤️❤️❤️
Baby baby baby Love this man!!
I was 10 in 1956! Remember Elvis!!!
there will never be anyone come close to the king he made millions of people move and smile he changed music ❤
Lyric "I'd rather see you dead than with another man!" Yiiiikkkkeess!!!!
M'boy, m''boy...ah, m''boy! TCB, baby
Thé beginning of a new rock n roll star (1955 ).And 1956 is thé confirmation of his great talent .
なんて若い!!でも声の変わらないのが凄い!!!✌️✌️👌👌🎵🎵さすがです!!🎸🎻エルビスプレスリー👍👍🎉🎉♦️♦️♦️最高!!!💕💕❤️
Pure music ❤
Great version of Maybelline. I wonder who does the 'Maybelline' shouting in the back ground? Bill Black?? Elvis sure sounds like a boy from the country when he speaks during these early clips
Definitely bill
Yep, that’s Bill Black allright.
everytime stunned with the purity and energy, even today still mindblowing!!!!!!!!
La sua voce scavalchera anche questo millennio. Nello Italia.
I wish they would've put a mic on his guitar! Never heard him sing Maybellene.
God blessed him.. ❤️
Love this! Elvis so young and wonderful!
This is amazing!!
he is fantastic
KING
В этом простеньком аудио материале чувствуется мощная энергетика будущего великого артиста!!!
This is fantastic, and hearing him sing the blues he was so influenced by. Just awesome, thank you ❤
Confidence all the way!❤️🇦🇺
Mestizaje rockabillero de la mejor voz del Rock and Roll y el mejor artista rockin!!
sounds exactly like the record at Memphis Recording Studios
It's only a understatement that he inspired many artists around the world during the 60s and 70s.
Rockabilly king
Love it
Listening to Elvis since I was 10 years old, 66 years later still listening and love him more that ever. Barbara ❤
That's so amazing!
This is stunning
Ele nasceu para ser sucesso.Vários atributos uma linda voz, uma beleza masculina como poucas, um jeitinho lindo de ser.Elvis nunca será esquecido ele é única e não tem substituto.
Can I like this a million times?? I just love Elvis early years!!!!!!

Ai nasceu o Rock
1:05 baby let's play house
3:48 maybellene
7:34 that's all right
El rey único e irrepetible
I agree wholeheartedly.
🌹🙏
It’s crazy how this is one of Elvis earliest performances and every song he’s singing is his interpretation of songs written and sung by Black artists but white America gave him the label of the King of Rock and Roll 🎸 instead of the Black forefathers and women who actually created it! But still Elvis was a great artist
Elvis' first number one hit was written by two white guys. Go find the deep end of a pool somewhere.
@@CooManTunes yeah I know the truth hurt’s! 😂 Elvis was a great artist and one of my favorites but the fact still remains! If it wasn’t for the Black! Forefathers who created the sound that later became known as rock and roll 🎸 you wouldn’t have this great music to listen to period! Now go play in traffic
@@IamthatIam1974 Yes. The truth is hurting you. I can tell. I'll give you some more truth. Without white classical composers, black people wouldn't even know that knocking on wood creates a sound. ;) Remember. When you find a pool, just sink to the bottom and inhale as strongly as possible. You're familiar with inhaling, so this shouldn't be difficult for you.
@CooManTunes classical music 😂 don’t make me laugh Black folks were inventing music in the Mother land (Africa) when you and Elvis ancestors were still living in caves! In the caucus mountains 🏔 my ancestors are the originators of all forms of music your ancestors are just the inventors of theft! Now once again go play in traffic on a Highway 🛣 on the Dixie line
@@IamthatIam1974 tell em !! 💜💜
6:42 I kNoW whAt iTs CaLL- First record I ever made. Dam Elvis interrupted him IM IMPRESSED LOL
