- I was invited to participate in an Annie Sloan color challenge, but these six colors were outside of my comfort zone, so this became a custom color mixing challenge for me. The result is a dark & primitive patterned piece with an almost gothic vibe, using a harlequin design to incorporate my custom colors.

Aubusson blue is such a great blue. I have used it several times. I am amazed at all the colors you came up with by mixing it in.

Amazing! So there was no Bleed through on the top?
The black acts more like a stain, can still see all the wood grain and color vs opaque paint coverage

Being honest the thing looks like an ugly Christmas sweater from the 80s 😂. Love all you do but this one ugh. But with that said someone will feel this is perfect for their space ❤
To be honest with you, I never liked the brashness, and busyness of Harlequins until I saw this one tonight. Brandy has mixed the given colors and placed them in such a way that they draw me in with a calm feeling of awe. She, "In my honest opinion" is a true artist.

@@trishswan-levering9300 i agree she is one of the best Furniture Artists I have seen as well , i love harlequin pattern and have done it with my furniture too in black and white, gold and white and pinks and white. I just can’t say the colors on this one in MY opinion only of course hit the mark. But see you loved it so its only matter of opinion❤️❤️
